WHAT IS STRESS
Hello everyone, welcome to my blog today.
Stress is a stressor that is psychological that disrupts the environment of an organism and creates an Imbalance in the pattern of life. Stress comes in different kinds of ways there is positive and negative stress .
Positive stress comes when you are driven to do something that will be beneficial to you in the future like educational stress at the end of it you archive something good when you are issued your certificate and that defines positive stress.
Negative stress comes with work overload and financial stress or relationship stress and it is prolonged stress .
Types of stress .
Acute stress this kind of nstress comes and goses quickly just temporary stress.
Episode acute stress this kind of stress comes frequently it is mostly due to work overload and chronic work stress .
Chronic stress this is caused by prolonged stress that last for months ,or even years.this is mostly caused by financial stress ,family issues and relationship stress.
Stress has many symptoms there are physical ,emotional and behavioral symptoms for example; insomnia ,indigestion ,muscle pain,moodswing ,depression ,irritability,eating disorder ,substance abuse.
Stress has shown up in my life in so many ways like education, finance,family and relationship .physically it has made me fall sick and in the emotional aspect it made me go into depression ,it made me had sleeping disorder ,eating disorder and irritability.
How I have learned to respond to it I have tried to identify the stress sensors , arrange my task ,limit exposure to stress sensors like social media and other sources of stress.
How do I manage stress and pressure in healthy ways.
How I manage stress in healthy ways including
Identifying stress sensors and knowing how to tackle them calmly .
Prioritize task doing your daily task according to their importance .
Having a support system that I can fall back to when I feel over whelmed or depressed to help me relax .
Withdraw from exposure to stress .taking sometime of what exposes me to stress like social media and other stressors.
Stress is really overwhelming and to everyone going through one thing or the other please relax and take it one step at a time.
