Web3, is know for decentralised data and crypto currencies .
Web 3 is made up of Dapp DeFI, nft , Forex, and many others. The world is fastly turning into a place where cryptocurrency can be used to do mutually everything and even day to day transactions.
How I got to know about web 3 is through a friend who did a particular testnet and got 400 dollars from it and I was inspired to go into web 3 to work and make an income.
There has been a lot of misconceptions about about cryptocurrency but it gradually been waved away from the space because of the positive outcome of crypto in recent times.
The misconception that made me draw back and doubt web3 is because if you look into crypto trading there are times when you make losses and sometimes you make profits. At some point I made some looses and profit. The looses became bigger than the profit. And I lost motivation and doubted web 3 in general.But that trust was later revived.
There are so many things on web3 you have airdrops you have, native airdrops on telegram mini apps with their mining system have testnet going on and all others.
One of the things that strengthened my resolve to join the web3 journey is that there is a lot of money to be made online you just need to know how to harness the internet to be able to use your knowledge to earn.
My journey on web 3 started with AirDrop telegram mini apps in the year 2024 I had a lot of them going on my phone , there was blum, memefi ,Tonstation, hamstercombat nut coin and paws. All this are web 3 projects but they were being accessed on the telegram app and yes for some time it paid not all, a few of them paid and then it got exhausting because there was a lot of money to be invested and sometimes you don't even get half of your investment.
Then currently this year I was introduced to Hive which is also a branch of web 3 and here in hive I've learned to do creative writer on science topics ,health related topics, fictional fictional and non-fictional stories.
I joined the web 3 fully on hive about a month and now and it's been going really well for me it's been helping me to explore the internet more research more about topics and materials and be able to do the brain work using up 100% of my brain, it keeps me busy and makes me think deeper about things that I write about because your contents have to come from your experience and the knowledge you have already as we all know we keep learning everyday.
Starting up initially on hive wasn't easy for me because sometimes I feel like I've written something and I'm not satisfied with it most times I make mistakes in my writing sometime, that I have made as a learner but I've learned to be patient to give out more of quality than quantity in each post ,and also make sure to engage in the community and also learn from others who are better than I am in the field.
Web 3 is really vast and there is a lot in it so much more to learn I would love to explore more and learn more and I'm glad to be part of hive it's inspired me to do more.
My advice to upcoming web 3 enthusiasts is for them to be patient it takes patience and time for you to learn and get perfect in any branch of web3 you are going into and to my fellow hive members let us all Keep up the good work I'm learning a lot from you all and I'm glad to be but of this family.

Also had my share of experience with those airdrops that were all over last year. Truly, some were fruitful while others were like a waste of time, as one couldn't even get something for their time and resources. That's it with Web 3 I guess. But grateful to Hive, it was a game changer, offering the opportunity to learn, grow and be rewarded.
