VACCINATION A NEED IN THE HEALTH SECTOR
Vaccine is a treatment that's helps body immune system to fight again against diseases on the infections.Vaccination has been in the country over a long period of time as it is given to both children and adults to protect them from several diseases and infections are comes with the civils epidemics and pandemics.
Diseases of normally in the human body that destruct the function of an organism and it was very sensitively because by external injury.
We have a lot of vaccine that I given to both infants younger children and adults. Some of the vaccines that are given to infant or children are BCG, opv, measles vaccine, penta and HPV.
Vaccines for adults include. COVID vaccine,Flu vaccine (influenza) Tdap vaccine (tetanus, diphtheria, and whooping cough) or Tdp vaccine (tetanus, diphtheria).
There have been many outbreak of diseases so far and in 2019/2020 the outbreak of covid-19 was discovered in Nigeria and it was bought into the country by an Italian citizen who works in Nigeria who arrived at the murtala Muhammad airport that is where the first case was recorded in Nigeria.
COVID-19 signs and symptoms included nausea , muscle pain, cough shortness of breath, congestion,
I was still a student when the covid-19 outbreak started and I was in school then and then our school have to shut down because of the covid-19 and we all came back home in a we practiced sanitization we washed our food stuffs very well, we washed our hands very well and they made sure our environment was clean most people insinuated that you should use salt to bath just to avoid getting the virus ,you should cover your mouth when you sneeze and you should cover your mouth when you cough.
So for the covid-19 vaccine I took the covid-19 vaccine at a health center in Isi Ala Ngwa North,it was given to me by my uncle who was running the primary health care center so after being vaccinated you were given the covid-19 vaccine card to come back for the second dose we have vaccinated on our upper arm.
Then after being vaccinated we were told that there might be after effects like fever headache I and my mom and my elder brother were vaccinated. But when we got home I was the only one who reacted to the vaccine I had serious migraines and my body burned up all through the night but by the next day I was still sick and we were told when we called but I should take only paracetamol and that I would feel better I took the paracetamol and I felt better although I still have the little bit of pain in my hand don't but the fever and the headache were gone.
Speaking about any superstitious stuff that we had about the covid-19 vaccine yes they were indeed things to be said by people. Some people said if you have been vaccinated and you place a bulb on the particular spot you were vaccinated that the bulb would come on like nepa light.
Some people even said that the vaccine was fake and that they were actually injecting you with covid-19 instead of giving you something that could prevent you from getting it all said and done you need covid-19 vaccine and the yellow fever vaccine card to be able to travel out if you want to travel out at that point so it is a necessity and for us who are medically inclined we are not supposed to believe superstitions so I took the vaccine and I believe it was for the best because I completed it that is what I'm supposed to do as a law abiding citizen.
So my take on vaccination vaccination is very important and should not be taken lightly for both adults and parents so as to help keep sickness ,diseases and infections away.
About the COVID vaccine having effects the first few months, I can attest to that. My mom too collected the vaccines and it left her feeling sick for days. I don't know where people brought their theories on the vaccine from but I just know that people can be very creative with their lies.😂 I've heard things concerning that vaccine. And none of those rumours have been good things
We definitely need to make use of vaccines in this present world we are in now because the rise of diseases is getting so rampant
