THE MAN THAT MADE NIGERIA A BETTER PLACE
Hello everyone you're welcome to My blog today
I have never really paid attention to the politics and the president that we have had in my country in Nigeria when I got up to the age of voting I made sure I would always go out and cast my vote for the Gobernutarial elections and the Presidential elections so far unfortunately I wasn't able to vote for the last election due to some unforseen circumstances beyond my control.

A lot has been happening in the country even before I was born there have been past and present presidents good and bad our parents have experienced a lot of revolution, setback and moving forward of our country Nigeria dependent on how the different presidents decide to lead.
One president I will always remember is Umaru Musa Yar'Adua, for me this man stood out as a very calm and peaceful leader, something about his tenure felt really different,he wasn't a dramatic leader like the ones we were used to, he carries himself in a quiet ,gentle manner. And because of this many do refer to him as a man of Peace, and seriously I agree with that.
As a citizen of Nigeria, the truth is you can't completely ignore anything about the nation's leadership, because in a way it does affect your daily life, whether you like it or not. We have issues of Fuel price increase, security, the economy, jobs related issues, etc. they all somehow connect back to who is in charge.
I remember very well that during the leadership of our dear beloved president umaru Musa Yar' Adua there was fuel subsidy fuel price that was slashed to the last, everybody could get fuel and food was also slashed the country felt a little bit more comfortable and safer for everyone to live in. Even though I'm one who doesn't dwell in political issues or political affairs I would always say that he was the best president I have ever known so far and may his soul continue to rest in peace.
Let's don't forget the fact that we have had leaders bad leaders who only come into leadership with the soul aim of enriching their own pocket. They want to do everything possible to embezzle the funds they do not consider the citizens they do not do all that they promised to do for the citizens that is the kind of country that we live in a very terrible and wicked country.
In my country Nigeria fuel price is what most people complain about because everybody's literally on the road transportation goes on everyday and whenever fuel price is high everything automatically becomes high but whenever the price is low every other thing would go low and it was only in his regime that that happened I don't think I have experiences in any other person's regime. There was a fuel subsidy and everyone felt the positive change.
He is that one leader I know that was different from every other person it's normal to see people making false promises and so on but this man came into the presidential seats with humility and he was out to do a lot for the people but unfortunately death comes at the point when we least expect it and snatched him away from us before he could do all he wanted to do for the country. He truly has good intentions for his people
What more can we say than may his soul continue to rest in the peace and bosom of the Lord.

Immediately I see this topic, I know you are taking about yara dua. A selfless leader that want to make Nigeria a better place but death took him in no time.
It's just unfortunate that the best of people do not live long. President Yar'Adua death is even more heartbreaking because thinking back we can only imagine what could have been.
