THE ART OF LISTENING DEEPLY
Hello everyone your welcome to my blog today

Discovering the value of listening
We live in a very busy word filled with many voices thoughts and emotions and a lot of silence with unspoken words that are to heavy to be let out. Yet we have too many people around us and so many voices speaking a lot of things sharing happiness sadness and so on. but which of these voices are really for us which of these voice is actually listen to us.
This is my entry for hive learners weekly contest edition 2 and the topic is (THE ART OF LISTENING) the art of listening is not just about listening to a song or listening to me documentary or going to press conference and listening to the guest speaker talk on a particular topic.
The act of listening which we talk about here is intentional listening those who really listen to us when we are down those who pay attention to our words and don't just look at us for the sake of listening they just stay there and they don't take in your words and digest them and know what kind of support to give you at that point.
In my family I have a lot of people surrounding me yes but the truth is that who actually listens ,I always asked myself this question who do I talk to and the actually listen to me when I want to be heard when I want you to understand me and know where I'm coming from possibly related with me give me an advice tell me your not doing this device we are you are doing this the wrong way who actually listens to us beyond the surface.
My sister is a very quiet lady she's want to always bottle up things within herself and keep things within herself because who would actually listen without judging her who actually listening without being too Rush who would actually listen and relate with her the way she wants with whatever she's going through.
And sometimes people can be so insensitive not to understand the pain that one is going through at the point , same goes down to me I always try to bottle up things and keep everything within me this is because I'm scared the next person I want to understand me might find it hard to relate with me. My mom is a typical African mom and would always misunderstand me,my dad is late yes it was easy to relate with him because most of the times he understood me well but i find it very hard to or communicate with family and tell them this is what I'm going with me or this is what I'm going through I need your advice on this I need your advice on this because to be honest I feel they don't understand me.
Everybody loves to have that particular someone who listens not just because they want to but listen to understand them, but on a deeper level to keep them on track and hold your words to heart keep your secret safe with them and guide them through a rough part that they are going through.
Well for me I do have one person who clearly understands and listen to me on a deep level and her name is benita ezeala chidimma she's the only one who truly listens to me when I'm going through a rough patch in life, relationship, work, family and so on she has always been there she doesn't just listen because okay I just want to hear you talk she listens ,she feels my pain and relate with my emotions and she is always there to support in any way that she can.
The acts of listening is not just what we want other people to do for us we too are supposed to develop the act of listening deeply to other people's conversations those who hold us dear to their hearts , and want to have conversation with us nothing beats having someone who truly understand you even in your darkest time.

It’s hard to find someone who understands us and want to help by listening calmly to what we have to say before they speak. And when they do, they speak with wisdom and for them, they are amazing.
I totally understand when people don't want to open up, sometimes they end opening up to the wrong people who use what they said against them.
Maybe you should communicate in such a way that your family will understand you because I believe understanding has a way of making things easier
