PROCASTINATION AND PROPER TIME MANAGEMENT

Time is like a wheel that continuous rolling and never stops to wait for no one, time is a very vital factor in our life, and nothing can be compared to it, a lot of people are in the worst situation of their life because of mistakes they made when they should have done better things with their time.
In my family it’s a daily ritual for us to be reminded of time and proper time management, would always say any time you waste can never be recovered if you are sent to school be it nursery, primary, secondary and tertiary institution. If you wait the time allocated to schooling or things that don’t matter or you go to school and you don’t attend lectures it is evident that you plan to fail or that you wont graduate with your mates and end up having an extra year in school, that just a little bit of what poor time management can do .
Well as we know time cannot be compared to anything and people that spend their time in their comfort zone and those who understand that every second, minute and hour matters a lot use it well to their own advantage and it blooms for them , making them archive all the important things they need to do in their life and be organized.
Have you heard of procrastination the silent killer , I will do it today or no let me just rest I will do it tomorrow and it goes on , 80% of the humans now fall back on procrastination everyone wants to remain in their comfort zone and not work , you have a business idea then take a step , nobody has made it just by sitting in their comfort zone , is indeed priceless.
I used to be a procrastinator in a lot of things, and it has not gotten me anywhere good in my life. Just a small example: there was this time in school where I procrastinated in paying my school fees within the stipulated period for payment my people sent the money to me a long time ago and I held it without paying then the portal closed and it was too late , my exams where coming up and I had to pay extra 10k as a result of my procrastination and funny enough their where so many others that where in the same situation that I am. You can imagine everyone paying the late fee of 10k because of procrastination.
Right now, I have learnt to manage my time well, do things at the right time and plan myself well. 24 hours can never be enough for me to accomplish everything I need to do in a day in the past but now it is because I have learnt to manage my time better and work with proper time management.
What I do when I finish my daily schedule I either watch a movie, listen to music or sleep to remain refreshed the next day. One of those things I see as a waste of time is excessive surfing on the internet and having unnecessary conversations.
In all let’s all bare it in mind that time waits for no one and learn to say no to procrastination and inculcate adequate time management in our daily lives.
