POWER OF SAYING NO
Hello everyone your welcome to my blog today its your favorite girl @betheloji12.
90% of the worlds population are always trying to seek validation from the society, yes we all seek for validation when we want to get something from some one or when we want someone to do something for us . it is barely hard to say no because the pressure keeps building up each day.
You can imagine a lady who goes in search of a job and she is met with the condition that she to sleep with the employer to be able to get the job that is very unprofessional but in most cases that is the other of the day and in this cases 60% of the ladies will say yes just because they need the job and the economic situation of the country is very bad ,and because she is seeking validation and dose that to get the job and then she will pave her with her body being conflicted for life.
And this brings us to this interesting topic (the power of saying no) saying no has be come very difficult to say even when people come to us to ask for things that we cannot afford to part with but in this situation we cant say no even when it hurts us or is to our own detriment. well there are times when I have been in a position to say no to some or something and yes I wasn’t able to say no.
Well I made this decision sometime last year that when I get some money I would take my self out to get ice cream ,chicken , goat meat and a very good plate of rice and stew and I got this money and I got to the fast food and placed an other for everything I wanted and it all summed up to 20000 naira I bought all and returned home to realize the kind of mistake I made , I still regret spending that money like that but I cant change the hand of time and I live with that regret I should have said no to my desires, so yes I have fallen victim to this and then I understood that discipline is the only thing that can make us overcome the power of saying yes to everything and I learnt the hard way.
So lets discipline ourselves to be able to say no to some of our desires and decisions in life ,it will help us navigate life better.
