MY NATIVE DELICACY 😊😊

Hello everyone your welcome to my blog today.

There are three ethnic groups in Nigerian which are the Igbo , Yoruba and Hausa and well have different cultures that differentiate us from us in unique ways.

For Yoruba people they love pepper so much and they eat amala and ewedu.
For the Hausa people they eat tuwoshinkafa and for the Igbo we our ofe akwu and Egusi soups cooked with different leaves of choice

For me I am from isi ala ngwa north and our traditional soup is ukazi soap and it is prepared with egusi , archara and egusi balls there is something we call egusi balls that will make in my home town it's mixed the soup look rich.

We also eat bitter leaf soup with thickened with egusi and other ingredients include :meat ,snail and so many other things like mushrooms to we have mushrooms here to spice up our soup that is why you see our people always come back during the festival periods because they know that these local soups will be prepared so that they can enjoy the festivities and reconnect with tradition.

Here are a lot of special treats I will like to bring to the table but one always stands out for me and that would be my native soup. I am a Nigerian and from the igbo tribe to be precise and igbos have different soups which are peculiar to them and I would love to share mine with us all today so lets dive right into it .

So my special soup is ukazi soup and egusi balls. So this is a very special dish for Ngwa’s , So our native soup is made with ukazi leaves , egusi melon seeds, palmoil, stockfish, meat and molded egusi balls, crayfish , basketfish, freshpepper , onions ,salt and maggi. Then to crown it all up we garnish it with a chewable root called Achara and then it can be paired with any swallow. The soup dose not take too long to be done and trust me it is very delicious and smells really nice .

Thank you for stopping by my blog
