Inflammation of prices of goods is something we experience in our daily life because we all go to market every day to get food stuff, drugs ,provision and clothes . Especially the price of food produce hike everyday and the people keep shouting that the dollar rate is high that is why they are selling at at a high. You can imagine going to the market to buy Garri and someone tells you a paint of Garri is 2500 and you know that these things are things that are gotten from the farm it has nothing to do with the dollar rate but they use to Dollar rate to increase everything. Luckily at the moment the price of foodstuff has come down a little bit I wouldn't say it has gone down all around but for some certain things it is down ,for example: Things like onions, palm oil and especially garri that I talked about earlier the price has gone down to a good level in so many places and the price of rice too used to be on the very high side but it has reduced a little bit.

So this brings us to this week's topic which ( PRICE RANGE ) So talking about price range what is price range can simply be defined as the increase and decrease the price goods are being sold in the market by by their different business owners. They are varieties of things that are being sold in our country Nigeria and also outside the country a lot of things that we can buy from the market include foodstuff ,clothes, medical appliance and electrical appliances.

There's a lot of competition in the marketing sector a lot of business owners try to either reduce the prices of their goods get a larger amount of customers or increases it not minding how many people patronize them or not. And it is quite appalling because most times the people that sell for higher prices end up not having sales because of the people, that sell lower get more customers. Can you imagine of going to a drug store to get drugs and we all know that medications come from different company and their prices differ. So I visited this drug store only to notice that they sold the medications that are supposed to be cheaper at a very high price and then I compared with another drug store and their prizes were normal and I got the medicine from them for the right hand.

Giving business owners the liberty of inflecting and deflection prices of goods at their own will is very detrimental to the marketing sector because they can decide to do anything and get away with it. While the customers and the business owners end of suffering , but if there is a body that governs them and a stipulated price for each goods in all the different business sectors and anybody that goes against it has to pay a fine. It will help the inflation of prices of goods to be regulated in a much organized way.

Considering the economy of the country I believe not all of us on this platform are Nigerians but let me speak for Nigerians because I am in Nigeria and the economy of the country has gotten so bad that naira barely has value and when you go to market you get little goods that doesn't equal the money that you paid because of the high prices of goods.

I go to market quite often because I have my elderly mother that I'm looking after and most times I have to go to the market to get her special food and her drugs and so many other things that she needs and if you look at it very well you will see that but the prices of the drugs differs from pharmacy to pharmacy and it makes it difficult to pick a particular a pharmacy to get the drugs from and also get the original medications too there are too many fakes.

In conclusion I strongly advocate that price cap should be set up to regulate the prices of goods in all business and marketing sectors to help them regulate inflation and deflation to help the masses cope with the economy . Inflation on personal preference has done of more good than bad the funny thing is that some people take this competition to another level some even go through traditional methods getting chant and all that to make their customers pay whatever they want them to be just to get whatever it is that they are selling so that is bad rules should be made and lose should be followed and if the rules are broken the person in the question help keep people in check.
