ABORTION AND IT'S SIDE EFFECTS

Abortion ,when we talk about abortion what comes to mind abortion is the termination of pregnancy at an early stage or a disruption in the growth of a fetus it can happen through medical abortion or surgical abortion either of the two. But currently medical abortion is used by a lot of women to get rid of unwanted pregnancy. As surgical abortion has more d consequences.

This is my entry for #hivelearners weekly contest and the topic is ( ABORT OR NOT) for me as a health practitioner in the medical field, abortion is not something I would advise anybody to do both the medical abortion and the surgical abortion none of them is what taking the risk doing it, There are so many life threatening challenge that's comes with abortion one could lose their life , one could bleed to death during the process or have their womb destroyed during the process and then this can cause serious marital problems in the future.

In this our modern age is seems like having sex is the order of the day ,but that's not what this gen z are talking about everyone wants to indulge in sexual activities like it's a normal thing to be done . Most times the youth are not giving proper sex education to teach them on the do's and don'ts and how to protect themselves if they must indulge in sexual activities.

I will strongly suggest abstinence from sex as a way to avoid getting pregnant and having to do an abortion. But if you must have sex stick to using protection that is why condoms are made and sold in the market , Organising proper health and sex education program would enlighten the youth .

A man and a woman who are in a relationship or partnership and they know that they are not ready to have kids yet , then the right thing to do is to use protection if you must have sex to prevent pregnancy because abortion is not the right thing to do just because you don't want to have kids so people have done it so much that it's now a lifestyle for them ,but at the end of the day they suffer it for their entire life. So if you must do be protected if you can't use protection then practice abstinence.

Should the fathers have a say if their partner decides to have an abortion, yes of course the father of the child should have a say, one partner doesn't just get up and decide to do an abortion let me not attack anybody but I mean I would say it most times is the guy is that initiates their abortion they literally throw money at the woman to go get rid of the baby , most of them don't really care the pain that you go through or how many days you bleed if you will survive it and all that.

Anyways they are still good men out there that could sit down with their partner and make a decision together and know that it's is not the right time . Mistakes happen you cannot be too careful even the protection sometimes fails and in this case the only thing that can save you is having a supportive partner, when you come together and weigh things and you know that at this point you cannot bring a child into this world and you both agree to take the route of abortion.

And then he stays with you all through the process hold your hand through it helps you cope with the pain supports you emotionally and all around that is understandable and that is the best thing to do and if this mistake should happen try not to let it happen for the second time. For the sake of the lady involved. Because abortion disrupt with a woman's gynecological health if medications are not taken after it the reset the body back to how it was it leads to disruption of the Ph level of the woman's and so many untreated infections.

In conclusion abortion is not advisable because of the complications that comes with it, so please let us all try to play Safe and stay safe.
