A NEW ERA ( THE TURN AROUND)

In a town called acharaokpulo in Isi ala ngwa north local government area ,their lived a lady named divine nwoko she lived with her parents in sthe village and they owned two plots of land where they did pepper farming ,corn and cassava .divine was in ss3 class then and she was preparing for her exams ,then came the bad news there was no money to pay for her exams and her school fees.

So divine was left with no option than to start following her mother to the farm they worked day and night under rain and under the sun it was a really trying moment for the family ,the farm produce that year was not impressive and she was already running late and she was getting impatient.

Her father who was a diligent furniture maker tried his best to pick up jobs that were too hard for him to handle and finish on time. they managed to reach out to family members but no one was willing to help, his elder brother who was available to help gave his conditions that he wanted to have his brothers wife for him to release the money. His wife swore never to do that. How wicked men can be.

As time went by divine decided to start working at a phone shop not too far from the village just to earn a little money and she was fortunate to meet madam adaku who was her boss she was a very kind woman and she employed her as one of her sales girl with a pay of 35000 every month.

Meanwhile at home her mother never gave up on the farm land and her hard work eventually paid off the pepper survived despite the setbacks and they were able to pluck 3 bags of pepper to sell and they made over 200 thousand naira and that was more than enough to send divine back to school and round up her exams ,on the other hand her father was able to finish all the work he had at hand and raised about 100thousand naira it was a moment of joy for the family.

Divine who by now has been working for over a month had a discussion with her boss who asked why she was not in school and she had explained her family predicament to her .so at the end of the month she paid 40000 thousand naira for being a diligent and loyal girl to her.

So when she returned home that day and and went to bed still thinking about the remaining money she needed for school until she finally dozed off .The next morning she woke up to her parents smiling over her as they broke the news to her about the money they were able to raise and divine almost fainted out of excitement ,she hugged her parents and they celebrated .

Then she returned to school the same way to continue class and prepare for her exams.
