A special occasion.

Hello friends!

How are you doing? I hope you are having a great and splendid day. I am delighted to be in your midst once again.I would like to share with you all my memory from last November during our regional convention, which took place in our assembly hall located in Mgboko Umuoria, Abia State, Nigeria.It was such a special occasion; I met my brothers and sisters, and we really enjoyed the convention.

However, the theme of the convention was 'Declare the Good News.' We were taught from the Bible very well, and the words of encouragement really strengthened my faith in our Creator Jehovah. I also learned a lot. I learned that, just like Jesus Christ our Lord when he was on earth, he declared the Good News of God's Kingdom to people.

While he was preaching, many people tortured him and said all sorts of bad things to him to irritate him. But he didn't retaliate; he endured the persecution and the insults from religious leaders and others. So, just like him, we should do the preaching work, he told us to do. Irrespective of the hatred, persecution, and insults from people, we should learn to endure in order to accomplish our mission, just like Jesus did.

I also learned that if we endure till the end by listening to Jehovah's counsel from God's word, the Bible, we will be rewarded in the future paradise, where we will be free from suffering, pain, and death Revelation 21 vs 4 and 5.

Even if we die in this old system of things, we will be resurrected in the future. These are a few things I learned at the convention. The program lasted for three days; the spiritual food was really nourishing.

Another thing that made the occasion special is that I met my big sister, who got married not long ago. I was very happy she attended the convention with us; here is her picture below.

It didn't end there; my friends also took some pictures with me, and we wore the same outfit, which was properly designed.

My aunt also came to the convention, and I also met some of my brothers and sisters in my congregation. We spent some quality time, and below are some pictures of them.

Finally, I am really happy that I met my loved ones, and the occasion went really well. At the end of the convention, we sang praises to Jehovah and closed in prayer. We all went to our various homes safely. Thank you for your time.
