Greetings Discoverers and Photography Lovers!

Today imma share with you a prequel of a 3 part post that i’m gonna do in the following weeks.

I have had a hard time structuring the story and the post itself and came to the conclusion that i will start it like movies do a part 1 a sequel and a prequel, but this is not a movies set so i’m gonna start with the prequel, because the themes are so different and the post might get very long.

So, long story short i had a job abroad the capital in the one of the most historic cities in Bulgaria called Veliko Tarnovo, which is a city with a fortress that goes back the Ottoman Empire.

I had a little time to do some photography there, but it’s not the city you gonna see today, but the outskirts of it in a village a few kilometres outside of it called Arbanasi.

Illuminating the Darkness

So on the first day after work we went to our hotel which surprisingly was in this village which is in a high ground full of greenery and pathways. So you are gonna see a night stroll through it let’s start.

As you can see the village by the photos looks very abandoned, but it was just late and im from these people that like to take long strolls alone, cuz it’s just so addictive to walk alone at night especially in such places, cuz i dont know about you, but i love the ghost town vibe.

Also its very good for taking shots i always hated having some people around me, cuz they mess my shots.

Nocturnal Perspectives

I strolled and strolled and stumbled upon this hill with paths full of lights with this huge radio tower with red light illuminating in the darkness in the far and decided to take a leap of faith in it, because it seemed like a great idea to take a high ground shot of the city i will show you in the next post.

This is Veliko Tarnovo at night from far away, but don’t even think im done.

The more i strolled the higher i was so on the highest point i managed to take even bigger landscape, just take the walk with me and enjoy the visuals, because it gets even more beautiful, cuz the lights illuminated on my camera very nice and for the record i didn’t even use special effects or anything else.

Everything is organic and natural as it is. Enjoy! 😄

Before we reach the end of our destination i have to warn you you’re not gonna like it. The radio tower was very MEH!🫤

I thought it led to some path where i can at least take some shots of, but nah it was very dissatisfying ending and not to mention i couldn’t even calibrate my camera correctly so the photo could look a little bit good, but imma show it to you anyways. You’ve been warned.

Midnight Frames

It’s all good fellas i got you we can’t end with a dissatisfaction. Imma end this post with a closer look at Veliko Tarnovo from a view of the balcony of my hotel.
