Stargazing Serenade, Celestial Symphony & Moonbeam Melodies | Black & White Photography | Cosmic Harmony
“We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.” - Oscar Wilde
Greetings the fellow Photography Lovers!
Today i am gathering you today to take a look at the stars and make a wish. Well you’re not gonna see me catching a falling star from the sky today, but you are definitely gonna see some and considering my camera is definitely not for that sort of things i could proudly say i did my best in bringing the clarity in these photos the best i could and i think i’ve had some good results.
Anyway i think it’s time for the typical deja vú post that’s becoming more and more common in the black & white photography, cuz honestly i quite like it doing it that way. So today we are gonna see a couple of photos that i managed to convert and set in black & white and make it clarified as possible.
The photos are basically shots of our night sky, two of them are in the forest, cuz taking photos outside the city is the best way to capture such moments, cuz you know with all this pollution it’s very hard. Some of them are of the moon at night cuz i think it matches with the stars, although taking shots of the moon with a phone sounds ridiculous i managed to make it more pleasant for the eyes under the black & white filter, so shall we begin?

So here we go, this is the first photo taken I'm not exactly sure where, but from the date of my snapchat library i see that i was in a cabin in the forest with my mates and managed to take a clear photo of the stars. Well don’t take a look at the trees, cuz they look very splashed, so the accent here is on the stars. I call this a Stargazing Serenade, cuz it’s just gazing at the stars and when you put some filters on voila it turns good, especially for that kind of camera.

The second photo is way more precise and clarified than the other and brings more details not only of the stars, but also of the night sky, cuz it’s more illuminated. I know that this is a black & white photography, but i want you to see the original photo with colour, cuz in my opinion is better than the black and white one, cuz you get to see the whole picture.

Yes i have also put a bright filter on it, but look at the night sky, it’s way more embellished. That’s why i named this part of the post Celestial Symphony. Also this photo is more special, cuz the light of the fire reflects on the trees and it mixes very good with the night sky.

Here comes the last part of the post and it’s going to be nothing new under the night sky. It’s the moon, but it’s the moon illuminating over the sea casting its cold light on it.

Yes that one is not that special, i have taken better shots of the moon, especially the blood moon, but i think that you’re gonna like the second photo more where the everything is a bit more original and clear.

I think that the pros of this photo is that everything is more aesthetically pleasing and the moon reappearing on my lense looking like there’s two moons brings some originality in the photo. The con is that this photo is not as good looking as the original photo in its original colour, take a look, it’s blueish.

Here’s another random Moon shot that i have taken again with my simple camera. I think it’s not bad considering phone cameras aren’t the best at catching the moon on clear sight.

I have also put another Silvery filter on it i really love that filter guys it may be actually be one of my favourite B&W filters not gonna lie.

So guys this is the end of our Cosmic Harmony, i hope you liked it. I also hope you liked the titles i think they match what this post represents and it represents the Cosmic Harmony of our world in an IPhone 12 camera. Hehe 😅
I hope i fed your eyes with composition, memories of mine and creativity. See you around. 👋🏻😄
