Red Bull Kart Race | The Art of Speed and Precision

Greetings Fellow Photography Lovers!

Today I’m gonna share with you a different kind of photography than I usually do post here. It’s more of an event combined with photography experience.

So basically during the summer Red Bull have created this kart event with them handmade karts that need to cross the finish line with stunts and bumps under inertia and i was on a job there that day and managed to do some shots while enjoying it.

A day at the Edge of Control

I’m really not sure where to start, because i have a copious amount of material of this event so I’m gonna start with the title photo, because this is me on this electronic Tricycle which a friend of mine hopped on to there.

You know these tricycles have speed limit, but i kinda broke it during the downhill and managed to reach around 35 kilometres and honestly felt like the fastest man alive i even tried one of the little stunts with it.

I was hovering around with it and the people looked at me kinda scared, because I’m telling you it’s kinda dangerous to drive fast on these things cuz they become very unstable at certain speeds and i coulda crash in the straw boxes.

Anyway the organisers have closed the whole boulevard for this event and the whole boulevard is one big downhill full of straw wall.

Honestly the weather was kinda nice until it started raining and the whole boulevard started smelling on rotten straw, but it kinda smelled fresh.

Wings on Wheels & Racing Hearts and Spinning Tires

Red Bull gives wings right?

We are gonna reach to the top of the boulevard and start the race from there, cuz this is the starting point for all the participants on it and oh boy the karts looked so fun and silly take a look.

Yeah, the imagination is real, but is it reliable, because now I’m gonna share with you some photos during the race and i wouldn’t say it didn’t go without accidents.

Honestly I didn’t shot much of it, because i was watching it from a big screen which was more comfortable. Anyway here are some shots.

So now we are gonna see the accident which gladly was on the screen. I guess you get the idea the racer has to reach the finish line on inertia passing all the stunts without getting recked during the slide.

Well there was this one racer that flipped on one of the stunts upside down and the red bull team came to assist him.

A Playfull Perspective & Unexpected Art

So this is the final chapter of the post and the most pleasant one, because this is where the photography part comes and it’s just that this track especially after the race, became and unexpected art.

So this is the end of my post fellas, i hope you enjoyed it as much as i did on that race.

It looks fun to watch and it looks more enjoyable to be a racer while it has its consequences, but overall i get it why some people join such events.

It’s not the free red bull the red bull girls with the backpacks give around, but the adrenaline and the applaud from the people that are watching you.

Anyway imma finish this post with two more photos of the boulevard with the stack of straws during the night. See ya! 👋🏻😄
