Herkese merhabaaaa!!!

Umarım iyisinizdir ya da iyi olmaya çalışıyorsunuzdur. Ben iyiyim. İyi sayılırım yani. Bugün benim için oldukça dolu geçti yine. Sanırım evin bütün bireylerinin tatil dolayısı ile evde olmasının artı ve eksi yönleri var. Bu sabah bizimkiler ile birlikte dışarıya kahvaltıya gittik.

Bu sırada sevgilerinin bitmediğini bize sürekli hatırlatan çift onların fotoğrafını çekmemi istedi. Sık sık dışarıda yemek yiyen bir aile olmadığımızdan dolayı bu tarz anıları ölümsüzleştirmeyi pek bir seviyorlar ki bence de yapılması gereken bu. Onların yaşadığı zorlukları duydukça üzülen ben, yaşasaydım neler yapardım diye düşünüyorum.

Siz der misiniz birisi 60 diğeri 54 yaşında? Ben bu yılları onlara pek yakıştıramıyorum açıkçası. Pek bir sevimliler. Birbirleri ile atışmaları, bundan hız alamayıp sonra sırasıyla ilk babamın sonra da annemin ve en sonunda da ikisinin birlikte bana sataşmaları son bulmuyor.

Edi ile büdü yağan yağmurun altında kolkola aynı şemsiyenin altına girmiş ilerleyip sohbet ediyorlardı ki onları böldüm. Vardığımız yerde kahvaltı tabağı, patates kızartması, tost ve çay söyledik. Açıkçası tam bir hastane yemeğiydi kızartmalar hariç. Aslında bu bana normal geldi fakat sanırım beklentimizin yüksekliği ve diğer tesislerin de varlığı ile yarışamadılar. Fiyatlar her ne kadar uygun olsa da lezzet konusunda bizden sınıfta kaldılar.

Biz kahvaltımızı yaparken yanımıza bir misafir ilişmeye çalıştı. Çalışana kediyi içeriye alıp alamayacağımı sordum fakat diğer müşteriler rahatsız olduğu için bu isteğim reddedildi. Sanki bunu anlamışçasına kedicik biraz huzursuzlandı. Bol bol da esnedi. Bence çok şirin.

Çevredeki onlarca çeşit çiçek bize baharın bir kere daha geldiğini hatırlattı diyebilirim. Annemin çiçeklere sevgisini bildiğimden onunla birlikte sürekli çiçeklerin bulunduğu yerlerden yürüdüm. Babamın, onun işe götürdüğü bardağa el koymasının ardından bir benzerini ararken talan ettiğimiz Silivri sokaklarında bayağı bir zaman geçirdik. Hatta annem çiçeğin yanına geçtiğinde onun fotoğrafını çekmemi istedi ve kameraları sevmeyen kadına biraz yönergeler vermeye çalıştım. Bence bu çok şirin oldu.

Yağmur ile birlikte belirginleşen toprak kokusu bizi sakinleştirdi. Biraz gürültülü bir aileyiz açıkçası. Bu birazda babamın kulaklarının duymamasından kaynaklı. Onu konuşmalara daha fazla dahil edebilmek, onun bir şeylerden geri kaldığını hissetmemesini sağlamak için çoğunlukla bağırarak konuşuruz.

Son olarak ise babam ona son aldığımda beğendiği için suşi aldım. Bu sefer onun daha önce denemediği bir şey olan Onigiri de aldım. Onigiri'yi suşiden daha çok sevdi. Daha lezzetli buldu. Bundan sonra favorisi o sanırım.

Gün sonunda annemin istediği gibi bir bardak bulamasak da eve elimiz boş dönmemiş olduk. Kısa günün kârı denebilir mi emin değilim fakat eğlenceliydi. Bugünlük benden bu kadar çünkü çok yoruldum. Artık benim için dinlenme zamanı. Sonra görüşürüz. Kendinize dikkat edin, sağlık ve sevgiyle kalın ve lütfen unutmayın ki;

I hope you are well or are trying to be well. I am fine. I mean, I'm okay. Today was quite busy for me again. I guess there are pros and cons of having all the members of the house at home because of the holiday. This morning we went out for breakfast with my parents.

Meanwhile, the couple, who constantly reminded us that their love is not over, asked me to take their photo. Since we are not a family that often eats out, they love to immortalise such memories, which I think is the right thing to do. When I hear about their difficulties, I feel sad and think about what I would do if I were in their places.

Would you say one is 60 and the other 54? I don't think these years suit them. They are so cute. Their bickering with each other, and then my father, then my mother, and finally, both of them together, teasing me never ends.

They were chatting arm in arm under the same umbrella in the pouring rain when I stopped their conversation when we arrived. We ordered a breakfast platter, fried potatoes, toast and tea. Frankly speaking, it was a hospital meal except for the fried food. Actually, this seemed normal to me, but I guess they couldn't compete with our high expectations and the presence of other facilities. Although the prices were affordable, they failed us in terms of flavour.

While we were having breakfast, a guest tried to approach us. I asked the staff if I could take the cat inside, but this request was refused because other customers were disturbed. As if realising this, the cat got a little restless. And yawned a lot. I think it's cute.

I can say that dozens of different flowers in the neighbourhood reminded us that spring had come once again. Knowing my mother's love for flowers, I walked with her through the places where there were flowers. After my father confiscated the glass she took to work, we spent a lot of time on the streets of Silivri, which we ransacked while looking for a similar one. My mother even asked me to take a photo of the flower when she was next to it and I tried to give some instructions to the woman who doesn't like cameras. I think this was very cute.

The smell of earth, which became evident with the rain, calmed us down. To be honest, we are a little noisy family. This is partly due to my father's hearing impairment. In order to involve him more in the conversations, to make him feel that he is not left behind, we often shout.

Lastly, I bought sushi for my father because he liked it the last time I bought it for him. This time I also bought Onigiri, something he hadn't tried before. He liked Onigiri more than sushi. He found it more delicious. I think it is his favourite from now on.

At the end of the day, even though we couldn't find a glass as my mum wanted, we didn't go home empty-handed. I'm not sure if it can be called a short day's profit, but it was fun.
