Hello friends of the @splinterlands community, I come to share with you my entry to the contest number 257 with my version of KELP INITIATE a water element card, I made my version based on the original art but applying my personal touch I hope you like it, below the process you do.

• Hola amigos de la comunidad de @splinterlands vengo a compartir con ustedes mi entrada al concurso numero 257 con mi versión de KELP INITIATE una carta de elemento agua , hice mi versión basándome en el arte original pero aplicando mi toque personal espero les guste , a continuación el proceso que realice.

Process

STEP 1: Sketch, make the sketch of the drawing on a first layer, using the original art of the letter as a reference but applying my own version, I wanted to imagine KELP INITIATE in a more humanoid way but keeping its appearance as an aquatic creature.

• PASO 1 : Boceto, realice el boceto del dibujo en una primera capa , usando como referencia el arte original de la carta pero aplicando mi propia versión , quise imaginar a KELP INITIATE de una forma mas humanoide pero que conservaras su aspecto de criatura acuática.

STEP 2: LINEART, in another layer apply the lineart of the drawing using the pen tool number 8 to make the lines trying to get a clean finish to then apply the base colors.

• STEP 2 : LINEART, en otra capa aplique el lineart del dibujo utilizando la herramienta pluma numero 8 para realizar los trazados tratando de que quedara un terminado limpio paras luego aplicar los colores base.

STEP 3: Color, in another layer, apply the base colors of the drawing using the tones used in the letter as a reference, and then start on the other details.

• PASO 3 : Color, en otra capa aplique los colores base del dibujo usando como referencia los tonos usados en la carta, para luego empezar en los demás detalles.

Then apply more details like some light shadows and highlights to give the drawing a bit of volume and depth.

• Luego aplique mas detalles como algunas sombras claras y luz para dar un poco de volumen y profundidad al dibujo.
