The only town in the world with a design unlike any other: Hoi Ai, Vietnam

Hoi An, the town of lights that you can't miss in Vietnam and which is itself a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a small city or a large town (I love it when places don't let you tell at first glance) located very close to Danang.

In my case, as I wanted to be closer to the airport when leaving Vietnam, as soon as I arrived in Danang, I took a van to Hoi An to spend four days there. I recommend staying two days here, but definitely spending the night, as there are several things to visit, but basically there are three points to keep in mind:

• The Old Town, which is on a kind of island, during the day
• The Old Town at night
• The beach

El pueblo único en el mundo con un diseño sin comparación posible: Hoi Ai, Vietnam

Hoi An, el pueblo de las luces que no podés perderte en Vietnam y que es en sí mismo Patrimonio de la Humanidad reconocido por la UNESCO. Se trata de una ciudad pequeña o de un pueblo grande (me encanta cuando los lugares no te dejan detectarlo a simple vista) que se encuentra muy cerquita de Danang.

En mi caso, como quería estar más cerca del aeropuerto al salir de Vietnam, ni bien llegué a Danang, tomé una van hacia Hoi An para pasar allí 4 días. Recomiendo quedarse 2 días aquí, pero sí o sí hacer noche, ya que tenés varias cosas para visitar, pero básicamente hay 3 puntos a tener en cuenta:

La Old Town que está en una especie de isla, de día
La Old Town de noche
La playa

From my point of view, this is the most important thing. Of course, if you stay longer, you will surely find more things to do.

Hoi An is also an excursion from Danang, so you could just go for the day and come back, but I strongly recommend staying there to contemplate its moods at different times of the day, because it changes quite a bit.

Desde mi punto de vista, esto es lo más importante. Igualmente claro que si te quedás más tiempo, seguro encontrarás más cosas para hacer.

Hoi An además es una excursión desde Danang, por lo que tan solo podrías ir por el día y volver, pero recomiendo fuertemente quedarse allí para contemplar sus moods en los diferentes momentos del día, porque cambia bastante.

From Hoi An, you will also find excursions to places such as My Son, which are ruins that are also a World Heritage Site, the marble mountains, and others. These tours can also be taken from the city of Danang.

In my case, I prioritized visiting this site and then the excursion to Ba Na Hills. I didn't have the budget to go on excursions every day, and I was also tired. Between the trips, the full-day tours I did take, and the culture shock, I needed to experience Hoi An in peace, at my own pace. And it was a very wise decision.

I arrived in Hoi An at around 7:00 pm and went out to find something to eat. I have no words to explain what I felt when I saw the heart of this city. Dim lights of all colors everywhere. The photos don't even come close to reflecting what you see in real life, and the most impressive thing is that it's not a sculpture or a one-off thing, but the whole city is like that!

Desde Hoi An además verás que hay excursiones como a My Son que son unas ruinas también Patrimonio de la Humanidad, las montañas de mármol, y otras. Son tours que igualmente se pueden hacer desde la ciudad de Danang.

En mi caso, prioricé como visita este sitio y luego la excursión a Ba Na Hills. No tenía presupuesto para hacer excursiones todos los día y además estaba cansada, pues entre los viajes, los tours que sí tomé que eran de un día completo, y el cambio de cultura, necesitaba habitar Hoi An en paz, a mi propio ritmo. Y fue una decisión muy acertada.

Llegué a Hoi An a eso de las 7:00 pm, y salí a buscar comida. No tengo palabras para explicar lo que sentí cuando vi el corazón de esta ciudad. Luces tenues de todos colores por doquier. Las fotos no reflejan ni la mitad de lo que se ve en la vida real, y lo más impresionante es que no se trata de una escultura o una cosa puntual, sino que ¡toda la ciudad es así!

It is a must-see for anyone visiting Vietnam.

The highlights of this beautiful place are the delicious and abundant food, the live music that starts every day at 7 p.m., and the boat rides surrounded by lights.

When staying in Hoi An for a couple of days, it is also possible to visit the beach, where there are beachfront bars that offer delicious food at very reasonable prices, with deck chairs facing the waves included.

Es un espectáculo imperdible para quienes visitan Vietnam.

Lo más destacado en este precioso sitio, son las comidas que son deliciosas y abundantes, la música en vivo que está despierta cada día a partir de las 7pm, los paseos en bote rodeados de luces.

Al estar en Hoi An un par de días además es posible visitar la playa, en donde hay bares frente al mar que por precios muy modestos ofrecen algo rico para comer con las reposeras frente a las olas incluidas.

In Hoi An, prices are a little higher than in the rest of Vietnam, especially for clothing and souvenirs. But the food, although a little more expensive, is still inexpensive when compared to prices in Spain, for example.

It is a destination for solo travelers, families, couples, and all types of travelers, as the place is safe, enjoyable, eye-catching, and extremely original, blending Vietnamese culture with Chinese, Japanese, and European influences to create an exceptional urban landscape.

En Hoi An los precios son un poco más caros que en el resto de Vietnam, especialmente en ropa y souvenirs. Pero la comida, aunque un poco más costosa, sigue siendo económica si se compara con un precio español por ejemplo.

Es un destino para viajeros en solitario, familias, parejas, para todo tipo, ya que el sitio es seguro, disfrutable, llamativo y sumamente original, ya que fusiona la cultura vietnamita con la china, la japonesa y la europea, brindando un paisaje urbano excepcional.
