Let's go chocolate tasting at the famous Swiss chocolate shop, Läderach

Hello dear friends of Foodies Bee Hive, today I bring you a post where I will take you to know one of the most famous chocolate shops in Geneva, Switzerland.

As you know, this country is well known for its chocolates. If you are in Latin America, Europe or other continents, you can quickly recognize the Swiss flag on some chocolates, and thus remember that apparently the best chocolate in the world is found there (just as in Central America we have a cocoa that is a delight and that is often imported by countries like Switzerland to make these famous chocolates).

Vamos a degustar chocolate a la famosa chocolatería de Suiza, Läderach

Hola queridos amigos de Foodies Bee Hive, hoy les acerco un post en donde los llevaré a conocer una de las chocolaterías más famosas de Ginebra, Suiza.

Como ustedes saben, este país es muy conocido por sus chocolates. Si uno está en América Latina, en Europa o en otros continentes, puede reconocer rápidamente la bandera de Suiza en algunos chocolates, y de esa manera recordar que aparentemente el mejor chocolate del mundo, se encuentra allí (igual en Centroamérica tenemos un cacao que es una delicia y que muchas veces es importado por países como Suiza para hacer estos famosos chocolates).

The thing is that I love chocolate, and although Geneva is one of the most expensive cities in Europe, I decided that being there, eating chocolate was a kind of traveler's law, so I googled where I could go.

There were many chocolate shops, some located in very fine areas of the city. I didn't even go there, hehe, because the truth is that I didn't want to spend so much money. So, I looked for a place that was well known, but that because of its location I could guarantee that it would be affordable.

The Internet recommended me to go to Läderach, a chocolate shop with a lot of positive reviews that was located on the main street next to places like McDonalds, Starbucks, and other world-known, which indicates that it is a sector crowded by many people, and by people with an amount of resources belonging to the average.

La cuestión es que yo amo el chocolate, y aunque Ginebra es una de las ciudades más caras de Europa, decidí que estando ahí, comer chocolate era una especie de ley del viajero, así que googlee a donde podía ir.

Había muchas chocolaterías, algunas ubicadas en zonas sumamente finas de la ciudad. Por allí ni me asomé, jeje, pues la verdad es que tampoco quería gastar tanto dinero. De esta manera, busqué un lugar que fuese reconocido, pero que por la ubicación me garantizara que sería accesible.

Internet me recomendó ir a Läderach, una chocolatería con una gran cantidad de reseñas positivas que se encontraba en la calle principal junto a locales como McDonalds, Starbucks, y otros mundialmente conocidos, que indican que es un sector concurrido por bastante gente, y por personas con una cantidad de recursos perteneciente a la media.

You may be wondering if I enjoyed this chocolate, and yes, hehe, of course I did. I cannot deny that it was really delicious. I would say that in Argentina I have tasted very good chocolates too, but this one was different, and very very rich.

What I liked the most, is that the fillings were very varied, so I not only enjoyed when I ate them, but I also had a hard time choosing.

Among the possibilities, I saw the dulce de leche flavor, something very, very Argentinean. I bought it, hehe, as I wanted to know if they had got it right with this, and I must tell you no, hehe. In Geneva, or at least in that chocolate shop, they don't know very well how dulce de leche is, hehe. Anyway, that bonbon was very tasty.

As you can see in the pictures, the decoration of the place is beautiful, all the chocolates are very tidy. And at that time it was about to be Christmas, so you can see the pine tree and other decorations.

Se estarán preguntando si disfruté este chocolate, y sí, jeje, claro que sí. No puedo negar que era realmente delicioso. Diría que en Argentina he probado muy buenos chocolates también, pero este era diferente, y muy muy rico.

Lo que más me gustó, es que los rellenos eran muy variados, por lo que no solo disfruté cuando los comí, sino que también me costó elegir.

Entre las posibilidades, vi el sabor de dulce de leche, algo muy pero muy argentino. Lo compré, jeje, pues quería saber si habían acertado con esto, y debo decirles que no, jeje. En Ginebra, o al menos en esa chocolatería, no saben muy bien cómo es el dulce de leche, jeje. Igualmente ese bombón estaba muy rico.

Como pueden ver en las imágenes, la decoración del lugar es preciosa, todos los chocolates están muy ordenados. Y en ese momento estaba por ser Navidad, por lo que pueden ver el pino y otros adornos.

I didn't buy those for two reasons: on the one hand I end up eating all the chocolate quickly, and on the other hand I had to buy several to try different flavors. The chocolates were small portions that allowed me to eat less and taste more at a lower price, hehe.

Something I also loved was the little bag I got with my chocolates. The presentation was beautiful!

This is a 5 stars chocolate shop to visit!!

También verán unas láminas de delicioso chocolate, jeje. No me compré de esas por dos motivos: por un lado me termino comiendo todo el chocolate rápidamente, y por otro lado tenía que comprar varias para probar diferentes sabores. Los bombones eran pequeñas porciones que me permitían comer menos y degustar más a menor precio, jeje.

Algo que también me encantó, fue la bolsita que me dieron con mis bombones. La presentación era preciosa!
