DIY: Basic flannel with animal print motif and black sleeves (Eng- Esp)
Greetings friends yarn lovers, I hope you are healthy and happy and have a great week; definitely the days go by very fast and Easter is very close, while I am making progress in the projects related to the beach, a friend asked me the favor of making her a flannel with animal print motif for an activity she has at work, my projects these days are focused on beach outfits, so I paused to attend my friend's request and I could finish it on time, I must say that I was impressed with how fast I sewed this flannel, I could not believe it was ready so fast.
Saludos amigos amantes de los hilos, espero se encuentren sanos y felices y tengan una excelente semana; definitivamente los días pasan muy rápido y la semana santa está muy cerca, mientras avanzo en los proyectos vinculados con la playa, una amiga me pidió el favor de hacerle una franela con motivo animal print para una actividad que tiene en el trabajo, mis proyectos en estos días están centrados en los atuendos de playa, así que hice una pausa para atender el pedido de mi amiga y pude terminarlo a tiempo, debo decir que me impresionó lo rápido que cosí esta franela, no lo podía creer que estuvo lista tan rápido.

The model of the flannel is basic so its elaboration is simple, I started by marking and cutting the pieces; back, front, sleeves, neck and cuffs.
El modelo de la franela es básico por lo cual su elaboración es sencilla, inicié marcando y cortando las piezas; trasero, delantero, mangas, cuello y puños.
The next step was to face front and back and join the shoulders with a straight stitch.
El siguiente paso fue enfrentar trasero y delantero y unir por los hombros con puntada recta.
Then I fixed the sleeves with pins, sewed with straight stitch and to reinforce I used zigzag stitch; once the sleeves were attached I closed the sides and sewed a hem of approximately one (1) centimeter at the hem.
Luego fijé las mangas con alfileres, cosí con puntada recta a pie de máquina y para reforzar pasé puntada zigzag; pegadas las mangas cerré los laterales y cosí un dobladillo de aproximadamente un (1) centímetro en el ruedo.
To finish I sewed the neck bias and cuffs at the ends, then I turned, repeated the embroidery, pinned with pins to the flannel and sewed with straight stitch stretching 0.5 centimeters, so in simple steps the flannel is finished.
Para finalizar cosí el sesgo del cuello y los puños por los extremos, luego volteé, repisé el bordé, fijé con alfileres a la franela y cosí con puntada recta estirando 0,5 centímetros, así en sencillos pasos está terminada la franela.
The animal print is in trend and can be combined very well with black and other colors according to the print, the micro peach 180 fabric has a great variety of designs with this motif, it is also ideal for this season's clothes because it is fresh and comfortable; my friend liked the result and is happy with her new flannel; I feel excited for having done a project in a short time, I liked the result and I could also help my friend in her presentation.
El estampado animal print está en tendencia y se puede combinar muy bien con el negro y otros colores de acuerdo al estampado, la tela micro durazno 180 tiene una gran variedad de diseños con este motivo, además es ideal para la ropa de esta temporada porque es fresca y cómoda; a mi amiga le gustó el resultado y está contenta con su nueva franela; me siento emocionada por haber hecho un proyecto en poco tiempo, el resultado me gustó y también pude ayudar a mi amiga en su presentación.
