Crunch time

We're approaching the deadline for school payment and we're still short of about half of the fee. The total sum is roughly £4,400 but at the time of writing, we've only raised around £2200.

The message we've been getting from the school is that they're clamping down on people not paying fees or something like that. They're posturing like they're taking a hard line stance on the issue and frankly speaking, it is scary.

One thing for sure is that we will be paying part of the fee and we will pay whatever is unpaid in the coming weeks. Now I don't know what a hard line stance looks like but we would do the utmost to at least pacify the school and prevent the situation from getting extreme.

There are extraneous situations beyond our control that have gotten us to this position, so hopefully, the school will be lenient.

Hive for now

My income for the next couple of weeks will be heading towards the fees. A little will be cut back for rent but yeah, most of it is going straight into the school's account.

I would have liked to start paying back some of the debt I'm in but it looks like that will be temporarily pushed to the side. Well, not too far aside, just until the start of December.

Living off hive in the UK will pose an interesting challenge for me. The general situation in the crypto market is optimized for buying and staking right now that I'm thinking of liquidating to survive.

Even the income that I'll get from the freelance writing job I'm starting tomorrow will all be pushed towards the school fees. So it's basically like our entire life will be paused for the rest of this month and honestly, until further notice.

We'll cover rent and then keep a bit for transport and food. Everything else goes to the school until we're free of that obligation.

Paying the school fees is the final boss of adjustment. Immediately we get that load of our shoulder, we'll be in good standing to repay all the debt we're in, which could also take months.

So, in theory, it will take us about 8-10 months to even break even. In around three months time, my income gets a minor rise, so that's good news. Everything takes times, so patience is the key. We just have to keep moving forward.

This is a very tough situation right now. £4400 is quite huge, which makes me wonder what institution it was.
Some moments like this, we just have to fall back to that saving box that houses every of our penny.
I hope u find a way out.🤗

I am approaching a deadline myself for three projects, so it’s time to nite the bullet and finish them.
I sometimes wait until the last minute for dreaded tasks, and I need to change that next year.
