Always a Saturday.

Had an unexpected pint today and it was nice. One thing that's been good, so far, is that I've been getting a couple of extra hours at work.

It is not exactly the overtime I was looking for but it is some extra income, regardless. Today was one of those extra days and I got to co-manage the shop for five hours.

Saturdays are usually busy but everyone's drained from the Christmas festivities, so there's not much activity in the shop. So, the five hours at the shop were largely spent just staring into blank space, and conversing with my colleague.

Anyway, at the end of my shift, I decided to wait for my wife at a pub that's close to the bustop. I'm not going to lie, it was crowded, smelled funny but none of that matters because the beer was cold. Then again, with the weather as cold as it is, that's probably room temperature.

Anyway, I had a pint, met my wife after her own shift and we got on the same bus back home. It wasn't feeling like a weekend because work but it was always a Saturday
