On the Hive blockchain the rewards are direct proportional with the quality if the article

I have decided to write this article after one of my previous posts got traction and exploded in terms of rewards and appreciation. Maybe not to the level of some well established authors on the Hive blockchain, but for sure the highest rewards for any of my articles. And this got me thinking about how this came to happen and the context of it. And from here who knows, following some of the rules I've extracted from it maybe is a path to success and really reach our followers base and than some. Getting trending on the Hive blockchain is the way to capture the attention of orcas and whales from this ecosystem that can really give some exceptional upvotes. There isn't any sure thing on this, there are many factors to make our article trending, but at least we can try and hope for the best. So here are go with some points in this regard.

The work put towards a quality article pays off

My experience on the Hive blockchain once you make a good reputation and networking around here, is that doing the work and writing qualitative articles has the greatest chance to pay off. Writing something just to put something there might get some upvotes but those will pale from the ones that will be truly under the spotlight. It is still good to write and be present, but the expectations should be moderate towards expected rewards. Also shorter and straight to the point and smart content will get sometimes unbelievable rewards, put those are exceptions in general.

Less quality, less rewards

It is hard to define quality, but when i think about it can be in the shape of something genuine or something really useful. I am sure others might define it differently and it is up to the readers to like and resonate with the written content. We are all different - thanks God fir that - and there is no sure recipe for it. What we can do is give it our best and see the results out if that. This might also imply some experimenting in order to understand the readers and I think there is a lot of room that we can reach them. While we can try out different things, we need to aim fir quality considering that we anyhow spend time on it.

Networking and followers base are important

It is not enough to create qualitative content if we don't have anyone to read it. This is where engagement and consistency comes into play as this way we'll build a follower base that appreciates our writings. Simply put - we cannot thrive alone on the Hive blockchain, we need to network, get into communities and engage genuinely at every step. Only thus way we'll get more appreciative upvotes and we'll keep our motivation to create mire and just keep on going like a perpetuum mobile.

Personal views and originality are key ingredients

Writing only generic things never captured my attention. From my point of view, our content needs to have q genuine approach, present our personal views, speak from experience and bring useful information in the space. Not all of them at once, but at least some of them should transpire from the posts. In the same time coming with something new, something that I can learn from, I always appreciate and i think others do the same.

Posting the right content at the right time

It us not just about having a great article, but it matters also to post it at the right place (community) and at the right time. For example hyping on a project when we are in the bear market and the downtrend is clear, doesn't help anyone. We should be real and sincere about what we are writing and not steer the readers into a wrong direction. This is also about trust and when I see people still shilling doomed or falling projects, I simply end up not reading their content in the future. If you believe it, live it and write from experience, not just shill it from the sidelines.

Bottom line is that there isn't a perfect recipe for success on the Hive blockchain, but if we take a path where we put the work and aim to create quality, direct proportional rewards should come our way. Do it once, do it twice and readers will keep coming back for our content because they like it or they found value in it.

Your point about posting in the right com;munity and not hyping dead tokens during a downtrend hits home. That keeps TruSt intact and makes people return for the next read, even when the market is grumpy. Timing really matters > it can turn a solid piece into a spotlight moment, while the wrong hour leaves it unseen.

The fundamentals you propose are ideal for our platform to grow in the number of writers and the quality of the content. Unfortunately, something that has discouraged and alienated many from Hive is precisely the inconsistency of certain publications that do not seem to be in a good standard of quality but still receive very high rewards and above other publications worthy of recognition. Even so, I still believe that good work is what should prevail in our publications 👍.

It is not just about having a great article, but it matters also to post it at the right place (community) and at the right time.

This is a big component I didn't understand when I first started on Hive. I only knew of "Splintertalk" and didn't understand anything about communities. It took me a while to learn and understand communities. Posting relevant topics in communities seems to help a lot.

I also noticed that it can be better to write on a variety of topics instead of only gaming or Splinterlands.

we cannot thrive alone on the Hive blockchain, we need to network

This is another thing that took me a long time to learn. At first, I thought it would be rude or "butting in" to comment on the posts of other people if I didn't know them. I've since found that most people on Hive appreciate it when you leave a thoughtful comment.

A good quality in a post it's important but I think it's important also engaging and creating long and well written posts, some people expect to have succes with only putting a little effort in a post but I think this is not the right road to succes
