RE: CVs: A Thing of the Past....?

A friend of mine is a professional CV writer for the tech sector - he's really good I think, his work opened the door to many dream jobs for his clients. But his business is definitely declining, many go for the "cheap" AI versions.
He once wrote a CV for me, when I was thinking about selling my business and become and employee (after 10 years of running a business, that is still kind of a dream of mine...), and it was a great way to realize all the things a I already had done. I would've just written "Founder and owner of a bakery" as for professional. But he made me aware what that means - product development, quality control, administration, supply chain management, human relations, client service and so on and so forth. That alone was worth it, to know my own worth :-)
Sounds like he knows his stuff but I think it's just the reality that his days in that line of work are maybe numbered thanks to AI!
Yeah, he's already looking for alternatives.
