A Birthday Plan

I always love celebrations. I get super excited when I see someone celebrating anything either an anniversary, a birthday, a wedding, or anything worth celebrating. I am always excited. I think this could be because I love when people are super happy and I love celebrating with people no matter how little.

When I was little, the only way my dad could get me to eat large quantities of food was if there was a party somewhere. He would say “If you don’t finish your food you won’t join us for the party” and I would finish that food with all my strength so they don’t leave me and go for the celebration. That was how much I love celebrations even as a little girl.

MY 2024 BIRTHDAY

If there is one day I am looking forward to then it's my Birthday. I get so happy whenever my birthday is closer even if I have no plans it turns out to be great. It wasn’t so Last year as during my birthday I had to travel for my NYSC (National Youth Service Corp) I had to report to my place of primary assignment. So I didn’t get to celebrate my birthday or have gifts as I was in transit all through.

Last year I had the worst birthday ever, I kept moving from one place to another and didn’t even have the chance to take calls or reply to chats. Most people thought I was busy having fun but that wasn’t the case as I didn’t have time for myself or my phone. I finally had time for my phone late at night and then I was already tired and I was extremely exhausted and sad. I had the worst birthday in 2023. Therefore, I look out to my birthday in 2024. I know it’s going to be a great day though.

WHAT MY BIRTHDAY MEANS TO ME

My birthday means a lot to me. Adding another year to my age and celebrating it. It means so much as I tend to look at how the past year has been and also set new goals and begin a new phase of my life. This is one reason why I love making my birthdays special and not being sad because it’s more like I am starting a new journey and I am glad to be alive.

PLANS FOR MY BIRTHDAY

I am planning to celebrate my 2024 birthday in an Orphanage. I had this plan for my 2023 birthday but then it couldn’t happen. I have celebrated my birthday in an orphanage before and I love the feeling it gave me. Giving out to the motherless and fatherless, creating a bond with them I felt great. We had lots of fun with lot of food and drinks as well.

I will be giving out to the needy and also visiting the orphanage and having my party there with the kids. I would love to see them happy and smiling. Just this will make me extremely happy and fulfilled. I plan to build an orphanage home and help these kids but since I do not have the resources yet. It is better to celebrate with them and make them happy. This is how I plan to celebrate my 2024 birthday and I am sure it will happen this way as I am already making plans towards it.
