The wonderful diversity of nature in one place: Hotel la Cumbre

Hello, happy week! @amazingnature community, I've been wanting to post here for so long! This new year arrived with the surprise of my greatly improved health, feeling better about myself, encouraged and eager to be part of my family's daily life and to blog again I needed to be in optimal condition.

On this occasion I want to share with you some of the immense fun of flora that exists in my City. This particular area is located near the historic center of Ciudad Bolívar, Venezuela, but not within it and its founder took care of bringing plants from many tropical countries, thus creating an environment with a desert oasis feel, since there are many cacti and varieties of these and at the same time as you can see in the first photograph, bamboo and philodendrons, they are more of a river tree, so they require a lot of water.

The place is called "Hotel La Cumbre" and was built mostly with stones and wood, in the 60s by a visionary dreamer who together with a German architect achieved an architectural marvel. However today I am going to focus on the nature of the place.

The arid, dry and hot climate of Ciudad Bolívar seems to be taking its toll on the bamboo and philodendrons since although we are in the middle of January, the effects of climate changes have been felt more than ever, with temperatures of 38° to 40° and the few "cold" days that we have had the minimum temperature has been 28°c.

The beautiful cacti are comfortable all year round on top of the rocks.

Big trees, lucky them, with their strong roots and large size, capture a lot of water and nutrients and the best of the sun.

Thank you for visiting my publication, see you next time 🙏
