The aspects of science that irks me.
Science has been and still is a major changing factor in the world. If not for science, many of the devices and machines that make life easier and sweeter today, would not be known.
Science in itself as a field of study has helped humans reform our old ways of thinking and helped us see clearly, the facts from illusions. For instance, science helped me stop believing in ghosts because I learnt that once a living thing dies, it ceases to exist.
Also, the concept of why the sky always appears blue was explained by science as the resultant effect of white light passing through moisture. As this occurs, the rays of lights are dispersed but only blue light remains visible as it cannot travel far, thereby colouring the sky with its lovely hue.
Alright, enough of science class and back to the post. As much as I appreciate science and all its benefits, there are certain aspects of science that I don't, no scratch that, I can never agree with. Those aspects are on iImmortality and trans-gendering.
There is nothing anyone would say that would make me applaud and accept trans-gendering. Why would I as beautiful and wonderfull creation, made by God, decide one day to change my gender from that of a female to a male? I can't even fathom the thought of such.
No one can tell me that doing such is morally right or ethical. It might be culturally and politically right nowadays but it is wrong on all levels. Firstly, I feel it is an insult to God our creator who knew us from the womb and knew our genders and names even before we took our first breath.
Secondly, I feel it is a slap in the face of the parents of such an individual and a scorn on their upbringing. I just don't see myself condoning such from my own child at all.
Now moving to the issue of immortality, i hear thay science is trying to transfer souls into humanoids so as to cause the dead himan to continue living on. I disagree with this because it defeats the very foundation on which science hinges on. Every living thing dies, not every living thing dies and migrates.
Secondly, religious wise, we are taught that our souls is our essence that makes each human unique and once that human breathes his last, the soul returns back to the creator while the body rots in the soil.
Even in movies where such is acted out, I see the way the resurrected human behaves abnormally and anti-socially. The dead need rest, not longevity. I don't know how far science has gone on this subject of immortality but I'm very sure that it would spell doom for humanity if it is achieved.
Criminals, drug barons and other socio-pathic maniacs who died, would live on and continue to torture humans mercilessly. I don't think that pursuing immortality is the way forward.
There was a time I came across a picture consisting of pregnancy machines wirh little babies inside them, on Facebook. The caption that came with the picture explained that soon, women won't have to suffer for nine months as those machines would carry the baby to full term and once the baby is delivered by the machine, the parents would come pick up their babies or even have them delivered to their homes.
I laughed in Swahili when I read that caption because it seemed like a huge joke to me. For what reason would I allow an artificial womb to carry my precious seed and then send it to my home like a delivery from Jumia? I totally disagree with such an invention and I surely won't patronize such hullabaloo. I simply feel like these inventions are unnecessary.
Coming up with the epidurals that helps lessen the pain of child birth is great and even coming up with several safe surgical birth procedures is also great but I think it should stop there and go no further trying to create artificial wombs.
I'm aware that there are artificial or silicon wives that men can buy and keep at home since, they are not man enough to deal with “”real women*” out there. That's fine and they can go ahead but if you married a real living woman, then allow her pass through the process of carrying her seed in her own womb and nourish her baby the natural way. It is afterall, a part of being a woman. Science should not deprive women of that.
Thank you all for being here.

Wait, is this the way someone's mouth will be shaped if they laugh in Swahili? 🤣
My dear, people are getting it all wrong with this science thing thereby testing God's patience. It's all shades of wrong for one to change their sex. I don't get it. Granted, some are hermaphrodite and shouldn't be faulted.
About the issue of immortal, I only hope that the scientists abi technologists would experiment with themselves first let's see how it works. Nonsense and ingredients. 🤣
😂😂😂
No o sis. I was just fooling around with snap chat 😁
Na really nonsense and ingredients o😁😁
Okay.
People will just be fooling themselves thinking they can be immortal.
As in eh, they should sha continue. Let's see he end point of the matter.
Now I want to see the pair of you @beckyroyal @luchyl laugh in swahili 🤣
😝😝😝
Ki Ki Ki Ki
Only good woman is a feisty "real woman"!
I don't laugh in swahili but when I was a teenager I did learn to count to 50 in swahili and say a few greetings!
That's nice boss boss. I don't know a thing in Swahili 😁
