Yeah
Ethics works perfectly for the beginning of the business but as soon as it start growing, there are other things to be considered if they want to stay profitable
Even if other things would be considered, I don't think ethics should be done away with. Ethics will help to keep the customer base stable.
Well, what if the company make products the customers can’t do without like tooth paste, can food, Spag, rice, and so on.
If they make a ethics that’s unethical and won’t affect the customers in a huge way, don’t you think the customers will still remain
Yeah, I get your point but ethics here with these foods you mentioned would concern giving customers the best in their products. Do you know how many products have been boycotted by customers.
Take me for example, I used to buy a particular brand of spaghetti (with green nylon and a big letter B). The spaghetti was really nice when it newly came out but not long after, the spaghetti changed. It became sticky and soggy anytime you cook it. I had to dump it immediately to another one (it has pride in it 😁).
Even toothpaste, I won't continue with a toothpaste that does not perform its job of giving me fresh breath.
On the other hand, we have goods that have maintained their ethics but increased their price and customers still go for it. A good example is a very popular noodle. That noodle is very costly now above the rest but their customer quality is still there and that's what they are still the number 1 in the market 😁
I hope with this few points of mine, I have been able to convince you that ethics and profits can work hand in hand and one should not be dropped for the other.

What about products that kept their quality but reduce the size of it but you still have to buy it
Yes u still buy it because of its quality. That is a part of ethics as well 😁

The cost of raw materials is high. As a customer, I can understand because the quality of the goods is still intact.
