Pleasures?........more please. Digi-prompt 007.

Hello everyone, greetings 🙌.

It is time for some confessions, time to spill the beans about those things we do with our gadgets that bring us pleasures. Hey guys, before you go acting like you ain't one of us, let me make this clear....we are all in this together ( in Sponge Bob's voice) 😁.

Since we have established that clear fact, let me proceed to my own confessions of my favourite digital guilty pleasures on the digi-verse. Frankly, I can't do without my phone, not that I'm an addict 😏but there's just a way I feel when my phone is not with me 😁. I know I'm not the only one guys, come on, don't leave me hanging here, hehe.

The didg-verse is a vast space able to accommodate millions of users at the same time plus the idea of getting any form of information at just the tap of my fingers is so thrilling for me but more than just knowledge seeking, i also like to indulge in some things that help me stay in a good mood. These digital guilty pleasures I indulge in when I'm less busy are;

#1. Youtube binge watching

Yep, I came up with that title cos that's what I do literally. I would open the app on my phone and binge-watch movies for hours. Usually these videos were centered around k-drama series, showmax and Reels but now I have transcended to Chinese love drama series which can last for about three hours. I think the Chinese are getting better at making their romance look real 😁 unlike the k-drama series where there is always an invisible wind that only comes to blow up the female leads hair when the male lead is staring at her.

#2. Facebook reels and shorts

This is another site that I find myself indulging in for hours when I'm less busy. The shorts and reels addition to the Facebook page are so interesting that I keep on scrolling through to have my fill. I know I can get them on tiktok but I just like viewing these shorts and reels through the Facebook page after all, "all way is a way" as long as I get the desired outcome. I kill two birds 🐦 with one stone, chatting and watching.

#3. Duolinging

That is another word I coined for this guilty pleasure. I actually decided to start learning another language just recently and I must confess that the feeling is awesome. I registered with Duolingo app and joined their Spanish language class. For the past one and a half month, I can say that I'm getting a good grip on my Spanish. This is a plus for me as I get to enjoy myself while using the app and also learn new words in Spanish at the same time. If you haven't got the Duolingo app on your phone, you're missing out.

1. Criminal Case

This is a game that I have been hooked on for years. Even when I get a new phone, I would still download the game app from playstore and start playing it all over again. Criminal case is one game that is enlightening and educative. I get to play cop and arrest bad guys who commit crime. The little bits of knowledge acquired also helps me to understand crime and how the mind of a criminal works. Plus the game's interface and characters are inviting, almost life like. I forget that I'm a teacher and not a cop when I'm playing it.
