No frugality in my eating...SMP #9.

Food is any liquid or solid substance that is ingested to obtain nutrients and energy. Food is the major source of energy for the body and hence, everybody likes food …even monks.

Just as with so many other things in life, we all have our own styles, habits and schedules to eating. I have an aunt who prepares a meal plan table to be followed strictly every month. I don't know how she does it but everyone follows what's on the meal table and it suits them very well. I for one cannot work with such as I grew up in a home that allows you to eat as long as you want to or you are hungry.

This goes to show that I can eat whenever I want and however I want. I am a slim beauty. Heck, I can pass as a model on a runway but when you see me on the dining table, you better believe that I'm sitting down there for business…which is to devour some good food 😜.

I love homemade meals the most. I only order from a restaurant when I am either too tired to cook or sick and this happens rarely. I derive joy in working my magic with my own hands in the kitchen. Those from the South Eastern part of my country will relate. We are simply good cooks. It's in our DNA 😁.

Since I prefer cooking my meals most of the time, I opt first for quality and richness. I believe in the idealogy that the eyes eats first before the mouth does and hence, I make sure to cook with enough veggies that add colour and taste to my food. I ensure that there are green leaves, red peppers and tomatoes, orange carrots, purple onions, cream garlics and more. All these are to spice up the food I am preparing.

When the food is finally served, I help myself to a large portion because she that worked should eat ( my personal proverb). The only time of day that I don't eat heavily is at breakfast time which I usually observe by 8:15am to 9am daily but on Sundays, I allow my stomach infrastructure to take a break until 12 noon before I have my brunch.

The reason I eat light at breakfast is because I would still snack on some other foods like meat pie and doughnuts and don't leave out the fruits too. Fruits like cucumber goes well well roasted nuts as a snack or I go all out for a fruit salad combo of banana, watermelon, pineapple, green apple and golden melon all diced up nicely and with a splurge of yoghurt added to it ( my mouth is already watering). The idea is to focus on maintaining a balanced diet in my own little way.

Doing my best to eat balanced meals three times a day has always been a top priority for me even though I'm a heavy eater. But I like the fact that I am a fast metabliser. This ensures that no matter how heavily I eat, it does not show on me through a bloated stomach. My stomach stays flat like ping pong bat. Many people envy my body shape but many of them don't know the hacks I pull to keep fit. You cannot be a heavy eater and go sleep after eating. You need to sweat out a little and burn some fats 😁.

I do well to keep fit by doing little but regular exercises and this helps me stay in shape irrespective of the quantity of food that I consume. I appreciate quality but I also do well to eat to my satisfaction. No strict schedule regiment for my eating but I make sure to eat right.

Hahaha. Just like my sister, no matter how heavy she eats, her stomach is always flat. I asked her one day how she does it, she jokingly said, "Eat Eba at midnight." 🤣🤣🤣 I know she was trying to pull my legs. But I love people like her.

Wait. You also eat breakfast at 8:15-9am? Eii. That's too early for me. My meal time starts from 12 pm upwards but once it's past 5 or 6, I'm no longer putting anything in my mouth again except water. Eating balanced meal is very important and we also should be careful with the type of meal we consume.

Yes my breakfast time is early because that's when the pupils are on a short break from the assembly in school and I need energy to shout "stop making a noise" all through 😂😂😂
