Naughty Leo 🐕‍🦺

On the 3rd of December 2024, I shared a post about my neighbour's new puppy and how adorable he is. You can read all about it here.

I have watched that little pup grow into a playful three month old pup and even got to experience firsthand some of his naughtiness. Naughhtiness in the sense that despite having a soft ball to play with, Leo still prefers to chew on my flip flops when I leave them outside the door, in front of my apartment.

I thought this was just a phase and that he needed something to chew on simply for fun or to ease his gums, until he damaged one of my slippers. That taught me to stop leaving my footwear outside.

As if that was not enough, Leo the new pup went into a nearby provision store and began to demonstrate his naughty skills. In doing this, he ate up some junk, including a balloon. Now, my neighbour was not aware that he had eaten a balloon at the time. It was two days ago when Leo wanted to defeacate that this was revealed.

*Talk about, "you are what you eat"😁.

Now I understand that some animal's digestive system cannot digest certain things like nylon and rubber but can't these animals avoid those things they know can't be digested...🤷‍♀️?

So Leo went imto a store, picked up an orange coloured ballon and ate it. He was okay with no unpleasant reaction until two days ago when he wanted to defeacate. The orange coloured balloon got stuck in his wee anus and he began to call for help.

I guess the balloon stuck in his anus surprised him as he begam to make a fuss. He tried to remove the balloon with his mouth but his little head could not reach his butt 😁. It was such a fumny sight to behold. I and my neighbour could not help laughing at his naughtiness.

I wanted to capture this on camera but Leo refused to stay still. So I asked my neighbour's daughter to help me hold him still so that I could take some pictures. Later on my neighbour used his hands to help Leo out by pulling out the oranege coloured ballon.

After the balloon got pilled out, Leo finally became less restless and happy. He went back to his jumping stunts again and all was well 😁.
