Most favourite activity of all.

We all have those activities that we enjoy doing because we derive certain levels of satisfaction and happiness from doing them. These activities can vary from indoor activities to outdoor activities. The point to note is that satisfaction and happiness is gotten.

I have so many activities that I engage in. I carry out these activities because I get satisfaction and I like them a lot. Some of my very lovable activities are….

Reading romance novels.

I cannot quantify how much doing this activity brings me joy. I read a lot of books. In fact, I read everything that I can lay my hands on. But most of all the books I love reading, romance novels are at the peak of it for me.

The reason I like reading romance novels is because of its alluring nature and captivating scenes. I get lost while reading and time seems to fly past like a breeze. I read while walking, eating and even while in the toilet. I just love being in the world of books allowing my imagination to roam freely.

Just as I like reading books, I also love to write. There is no day that passes by that I do not write down something. Be it a budget list, an expenditure list, lyrics or even something small as a prime number. I am always writing and I write fast too. I enjoy the feel of the pen on my hand and the concordance rhythm that the pen has with the pages of the book.r

The third activity I like doing is singing. I love singing to tunes especially to gospel songs. Little wonder that I am part of a music band and choir in church. I wake up everyday and the first thing that I do is reach out for my phone to play songs on my playlist. That is how I start my day… everyday. I listen to the songs on my playlist as I cook, bathe, walk and even while I am walking to work.

The next activity is cooking. Maybe it's because I like food that I came to love cooking. There's just something that comes alive in me when I am in the kitchen with my ingredients. Just as a scientist derives joy in mixing different chemicals together, so also I derive joy in mixing,stir-frying and creating magic in the kitchen. I can cook at any time of the day without complaint as long as I have my utensils and my ingredients.

Lastly, I enjoy watching movies. I also watch football from time to time but not as much as I watch movies.

Amongst all these activities I listed, the one activity that I love to do the most is reading romance novels. I have an app that supplies me with loads of novels to read from. It is always exciting to read the thoughts and ideas of authors.
