Meeting a drama queen.

We all have that one person or friend who likes extra and drama. I know I have a friend that I adoringly call drama queen but it baffles me to see pets act that way as well.

Some days ago, I went to the hair salon to wash my hair in readiness for a new hairstyle. Keeping my hair neat is a top priority for me at especially with my profession. I don't want to be ridiculed by the smart ass kids I teach.

I was seated at the salon and next to me was also another customer who was having her hair weaved. She didn't come alone. She came with her dog.

I quickly noticed the dark brown fur of her dog and my interest was piqued. I love dogs but I have not the time to take care of one for now. So I make do with admiring other people's dogs 😁.

I learnt the dog was female and her name was Ria. That was amusing at first but the name sounded cool.

Ria was all over the place in the hair salon. She would occassionally go out and come back in to play with her mistress. She tried to pry the bag her mistress was holding and that was were I saw something fascinating. When her mistress refused to allow her play with her bag, Ria would lie on the ground with her abdomen in full view. She was playing the drama queen card just to get what she wanted.

We had a good laugh at all her schemes just to get that bag. Later she moved from the bag to biting the chair handles. I don't think I have ever come across a more energetic female dog than Ria.

Ria made my time at the salon fun filled. She was happily displaying all her antics in order to get something to play with or a treat and she got many treats.

The weather was a bit dull that day with dark clouds which also made the shop appear dull and the pictures to be kind of dark but it was worth capturing Ria the drama queen. I don't know when I'll come across her again. So these pictures are a reminder of a friendly dog I met that was a little extra 😂.
