Learning and fun...oh happy day.

I usually see everyday as a good day and it's because of my optimistic nature. Today started out well for me. I wasn't planning on going out anywhere but things took a positive turn when a message popped on my phone with an invite to a women's seminar which will be held at Okoko ( a central part of Lagos State).

I couldn't resist as I love attending such events. They even had a dress code for us which is White gowns with a touch of royal blue. This was definitely a very beautiful combination and I didn't disappoint as I rocked my look with a swagger.

The seminar was strictly for women and it was organized by Christian Women Fellowship International popularly known as CWFI (pronounced as kweefee 😁).

I am a lover of learning new things. I don't pass up any opportunity to learn something new from interactive and educative gatherings and events. I consider myself very privileged to sit with other great minds and learn from seasoned speakers from all over the world.

This particular seminar was no exception. I attended the seminar and it was packed with beautifully dressed women from various places in Lagos State. Business women, Entrepreneurs, women clergies were all present.

One of the speakers taught on * ”Differnt types of temperaments; the strengths and weaknesses”*. This wasn't the first time I have heard about teachings on this subject but hearing it being taught again broadened my learning curve.

Another female speaker got up to speak on purpose and it was truly amazing listening and taking down points in my notebook. I thought that I knew all about the concept of purpose because I have read a lot of Myles Monroe's books and listened to his videos and teachings but this female speaker taught on a different level and it was so good.

After the seminar, yours truly was about to go home when a very delicious aroma wafted through my nostrils. I knew that scent right away but I couldn't find the source of the scent and just like an anchor, I remained seated because I knew that there would be menu, menu.

Truly, after I eased back into my seat, a lady was asked to pray for the food and drinks and when she was done, servers came out with several trays of piping hot party jollof rice and pepper-stewed fish.

Mmmmmm the meal was delicious. I took a shot of it before I dug in with a spoon. Can you perceive its aroma from the pics? 😁

Okay, okay…just kidding.

After eating, I and the women I came with decided to take some cool photos. The pictures came out lovely even without filters but most of all, the pictures captured our happiness from attending the seminar. It was a plus for me and I'm certain that it was a plus for all the other women who attended as well.

Thank you all for reading.

Beckyroyal, rocking white with royal blue...
Beyond the menu menu, I perceive it was a wonderful and fruitful seminar. It's good to attend events like this.
