Irking scene.

There is something I came across today that pissed me off badly. I wanted to relax and watch a movie, a good one that I'll gain something from. Going through #Youtube, I finally settled for a gospel movie that was just newly released. The movie is titled Love in the guest room.

The title had a catch to it that attracted me. This movie in question was produced by the Winlos who are popular for their relationship and marriage counseling teachings and mentorship.

I downloaded the movie and got down to watching it. The movie started well and everything was going fine. The actors were doing their thing and I was waiting for the climax of the movie when a particular scene popped up.

That scene talked about how a lady was raped when she was only ten years old. The man who raped her started by watching her bath naked and then he graduated by going into her room one night when her mom was away and that was the beginning of a serial rape saga.

Do you want to know who the man who raped her was? He was none other than her very own biological father. I have heard about things like this and I have also read about some on Facebook where ladies confess to being physically assaulted by their immediate relative but nothing made my blood boil like watching it play out even though it was ”make belief”.

• I could feel the little girl's pain, the torture and the trauma that followed her through out her life and even in marriage. As a grown up lady, she could not allow her husband to touch her because every time he tries to touch her, she recalls her past and becomes so terrified and runs away. Her husband was almost getting fed up but thank God she opened up and God intervened.*

The rape scene was what pissed me off and I just needed to rant and vent about it. How can a man look at his own flesh and blood and then feel ”horny” and he even takes it a step further to having sexual intercourse with that child of his. What sick feeling is that?

I consider it so sick that I feel like retching just talking about it. Is it a curse? Is it demonic? Or Is it a fetish?......”I really need to know.*

Rape in itself is a bad and detestable thing to do to a person but it is on another whole frequency when the rapist is related by blood to the rape victim. Let me not even talk about the stigmatization and the threat to life on the rape victim that would cause her to keep mute and lock up all that trauma inside, carrying it around like a bag of rotten tomatoes and for sure, it would stink.

Let me pen down here before I blow up my phone screen with angry typing 😜.
