I will always believe in miracles.

There are certain phenomena in this world that cannot be explained by the natural mind because they seem to appear extra-ordinary and supernatural that the natural mind cannot fully comprehend its mystery. I like to term these supernatural mysteries as miracles.

Born into a Christian home, there's no doubt that my upbringing revolved around spiritual and supernatural phenomenons. I have always believed in miracles because they are a beautiful display of the divine and heavenly realms intervening in the affairs of ordinary men and women who are desperately in need of help. Without miracles, faith would lack its shine.

Personally, I consider anything that the natural or science can't bring about to be a miracle and that is what I'm about to share here in this article. I'm familiar with those this occurred to and I'm glad to have witnessed the blessing of a miracle in their lives.

Miracles witnessed

1. This one happened nine years ago to a couple who were believing God for children. They had been married for years and the matter of childlessness was becoming embarrassing. The husband is a pastor and he would pray for other women and they woul get their own answer but his wife was yet to concieve. They were undaunted and decided to opt for adoption but still that was unfruitful even after they had legally completed all necessities and that was when the miracle occurred. At the 25th year of marriage, this woman finally became pregnant and delivered a baby girl. As if that was not enough, barely eight months after her delivery, she took in and delivered twin boys making a total of three children within the span of sixteen months after many years of waiting.

1. This one I'm about to share defies scienc because the lady in question whom the miracle happened to was told she didn't have a womb. By the time doctors told her that she would never carry biological children she was almost in her late twenties and in a relationship. That relationship crashed because the guy could not marry a woman who couldn't have children. Heartbroken and devasted, she turned her pain and sorrow to worship and was faithfully serving God in the church. Then another guy approached her with the intent of marriage and before they could even start the relationship, she told him her plight but the guy was undeterred and he still went on with the proceedings of marriage and they became a couple and that was when the miracle happened.

A year and two months into their marriage, she began to feel feverish and like most people, she self-prescibed some fever and malaria drugs and began taking it but after two days, the fever became worse and the husband had to take her to the hospital. That was when it was confirmed that she was pregnant. She sent for her earlier results which stated that she had no womb to the hospital for the doctors to see but no doctor could explain the phenomenon, they were all left speechless. Nine months later she was delivered of a baby girl and that was beginning of beautiful things for the couple.

1. This one I'm about to share is quite personal to me as it happened to my paternal aunt. I was very young then then but I remember vividly that she was brought from Cross river state after the demise of her husband. I recall my mum saying that she was exhibiting signs of insanity as she would go on talking gibberish non stop and at night she would begin to howl and this caused my parents to bring her to Lagos for treatment but the treatment was not improving her health. There was even a time she played dead and we were all scared only for her to begin howling and tearing her clothes when she woke up. It was a sad time for my family. Later on, she was taken to a camp and prayers were offered and after a year and seven months stay at our house, she could finally go back to her children in good health and state of mind. Back then, my young mind could not comprehend what occurred but looking at it in retrospect, I can see that it was a miracle.

I have also heard about many miracles, like a cancerous tumour disappearing on its own, PCOS and uterine bleeding of years healed, people raised from the dead, blind eyes opened, deaf and dumb healed,insanity cured and more. All these and more are why I will always believe in miracles.
