An acquisition for proficiency.
A skill is simply a learned ability. This means that no one is born with any skill. Whatever skill we see, appreciate and might have, such skills were learnt here for some period of time.
Having a skill can prove to be very useful especially in this present day where what you studied in school cannot guarantee you a good job or a stable source of income.
Depending on a country's government is proving to be a deadend venture as some governments cannot even take care of their bureau and affairs. How are they then supposed to take care of a massive number of citizens?
One of the ways to be financial safe is to have a good skill and be proficient at it as that would increase one's value and attract income.
If I were to choose a skill to be learnt in just thirty days and I'll be proficient in it, my choice would be Bead making. Bead making simply involves using a variety of beads to craft beautiful jewelry which can be worn by both men and women.
Brief history
Bead making dates back to as far as 100, 000 years ago during the *Paleolithic era in Ancient China and Egypt. In Nigeria, Ile-ife is popularly acclaimed to be the pace setter of bead making. Benin in Edo state is not lagging behind either. As they are known for their rich bead making heritage.

The concept of bead making was not so popular back in the day and it was a craft left for a few old people but things changed when wrist beads became a trend in the late 90’s. Previously, beads were used to adorn the head, ears, neck, waists and legs. But presently, wrist beads are very popular and fashionable and thus the craft of bead making was open to all who cared to venture into it.
Making jewelry out of beads is so easy that it can be learnt even in seven days, as long as one is willing and decides to be focused and passionate about the skill. Best of all, it is very lucrative if one wants to make a business out of it. My daughter makes wrist beads and sells them to her friends in school.
Personally, I like wearing beads as they are beautiful with any outfit and they go well with any occasion. I currently have a full set of Red Coral beads also known as Benin beads. These beads are mostly worn during traditional marriages in Edo state. I bought them for an event I was hosting in 2017 and since then, they've become a valuable asset to me. I also give out the beads for rent from time to time.
You will not see me without a bead either on my neck or on my wrist. I even had waist beads which I wore on my waist but I lost them two years ago.
If all the resources were made available to me to learn a skill and be proficient at it, I'm sure to do well and become a pro at bead making In thirty days.
