A happy day walk around an event venue.

Waking up that morning was a delight for me. I had been planning for this day, 2nd of August for so long and now this day is here. My joy knew no bounds as I walked with light happy steps, like I was afraid of ruining the floor or maybe I was.

The weather did not disappoint. The sky had a clear hue of baby blue and it was as clear as crystal. The sun smiled down from above, shimmering us with all of its radiance while a very cool breeze wrapped its arms in a cool embrace.

I should have complained about the impending heat but I was too happy to be bothered. Moreover, no rain was needed on this day. The breeze was doing a great job breezing.

My long time girlfriend was getting hooked for life to her dream guy. She was leaving the *singles market and crossing over to the other side of married town.

I was happy, elated and ecstatic even as I prepared myself to attend her event. The journey was miles away from where I stayed but it bothered me not. What's a little sacrifice between friends?

I wanted to cheer her on. I wanted my voice to be the loudest whistle in the hall where she would tie the knot and so it was.

Another beautiful thing was how this journey afforded me time to view and capture new sceneries as I walked around the area of the venue.

The walk was brief but delightful. I was able to capture beautiful scenes of places my feet had never trod before. Let's check it out together.

First I pased through the entrance gate

Walking towards the main hall which was quite some distance feon the main entrance.

The array of beautiful flowers strategically positioned captivated me.

More pretty flowers at the back of the venue.

Soon it was rime for the event to start. I joined the queue, showed my invite and was allowed into the event hall to celebrate with rhe couple.

*That day went from happy to happy and that's how I like my days ro be😁.
