A day well spent in Joy.
Hello wonderful hivians. I bring you sunny Sunday greetings and welcome you to my blog.
Also, happy new week!
Today was a spectacular day, a day I would say was well spent in Joy and celebrations. I woke up at 5 a.m as usual to get ready for church service. The sky was clear and bright as the sun danced in the sky, spreading its lush array of light over us. I decided to walk doen to church rather than take a vehicle so that I could soak in some much needed vitamin E from the early morning sun. Service commenced smoothly with each one carrying out pre-informed tasks, then during the course of events, two mothers came out to celebrate their birthdays with the entire church and of course that meant we would all wine and dine.
We prayed for longer life upon them as they were already in their lates sixties and then the usual happy birthday songs were sang for them with gift giving. They were also allowed some few minutes to dance to their hearts content as a formmof thanksgiving to God.
First celebrant
After the service, it was now time for merry making. There was jollof rice and chicken, accompanied with soft drinks. The music team was delivering some cool songs while the rest of us were chewing and cracking chicken bones.
Later on, we honoured an invite to another church that was hosting its midyear thanksgiving service. It was a beautiful experience for those of us that went. Other churches were also invited and the whole venue was beautifully decorated and arrayed with colours.
Second celebrant
There were different arrays of programs lined up to keep us entertained. From intense praises, drama presentation to wonderful choir ministrations from all the invited churches. The sermon was on the love and unity to be sustained within the body of Christ and it was delivered seamlessly.
Some few minutes to closure, the food and drinks were served and everyone dispersed to their various destinations. Today was wonderfully spent even though it shot past my usual resting time, it was well worth it.
Thank you all for reading.
Images are mine.
Now, you won't tell me there is food now ehn.
Assuming I did not come across this now, you would have eaten it alone. And besides I thought the early morning sun gives Vitamin D
Yes it does give vitamin D but it also boosts vitamin E production by the skin cells which makes the skin glow.
I tried calling you up but you were busy posting on hive 😁
Looks like I will be walking in the morning sun soon. I want my skin to glow.
ahhh, I was busy posting on hive.
Ok o. I will let you win this round
You better or the bride price will triple 😜
See groove!
This kind of thing can sweet ehhh, but they shouldn't chop off my entire day😅
Any how, it was well worth it o.
Thanks always bro 🤗
Omo
That's means the service was long but the consolation will be the food and drinks 😁
