She became a unexpected Savior

Greetings everyone, I am happy to join in the weekend experience engagement this weekend, the first topic captured my interest, and I really want to give a detailed story of a stranger whom I love and the reason why I am so much in love with her.

Me and the beautiful soul

All my life in my state, I never knew that a stranger who is not related to you would take an interest in someone and go to great lengths to take care of the person.

My view on that worsened when I moved to Lagos state where everyone is Minding their business and I lived same life style too, in most cases you might not get to say hii to your next door neighbor for months even years, everyone jumps out very early in search of Greener pasture and returns so late, tired and exhausted.

Not quite long COVID-19 strick and forced everyone to stay indoors for months at that time I didn't have a well paying job, my ex-husband wasn't attempting to get any job at all, so it was just a fact that we would die of hunger, not quite long I developed Endometriosis which requires urgent medical attention and there was no money anywhere.

There was a next door neighbor whom I had seen just a few times, because she leaves early for work and comes back late at night but she was indoors as a result of COVID-19 restrictions.

She's from the Western part of Nigeria known as The Yorubas, am from the Eastern part known as The igbos so we are not related in any one, I can't even say a greeting in her language and she too can't do same in my language.

When it comes to religion I am one of Jehovah's witnesses and she worships with Mountain of fire so religiously we are not related.

But She saved a soul.

One day during COVID, my Ex and I had nothing to eat, and that raised some arguments between us, I never knew this lady was listening, just not quite long she knocked on our door and handed over some food items to me and I was very grateful.

The next morning I started bleeding so badly that I almost lost my life, I was all alone at home, this beautiful soul immediately rushed into our room as she overheard me screaming "Am dying am dying" , not looking for any family members she rushed me to the best hospital in the locality, she made a deposit of 150,000 Niara before treatment will commence, she stayed back till i was resuscitated back to life.

Why won't I fall in love with someone who saved my life?

I can relate her story times without number, because when I think about her act of love to me I always feel so grateful to God

Am here today writing this story because am alive, If I had died that day I wouldn't have been here writing this weekend experience.

Henceforth she showed me love beyond my expectations, people who see us always think shes my elder sister but unfortunately I don't know her, shes just my next-door neighbor but now she's more important to me than a blood sister.

Love most times doesn't have to be blood or religious related, rather someone you know little about can decide to do great deeds that will attract true love love that wlll grow.
