Onboarding and listing Diplomat Gym house// Hosting first meetup with Iyaneri Lagos Hiveans

Another busy Monday and a successful day on spendhbd promotional activities, it started very well and ended smoothly.

Today was a fixed day for my first meetup with Iyaneri Lagos Hiveans, and it was my goal to reach out to businesses in the area and see if anyone could accept HBD transactions.

We already had an agreement on where to meet for the meetup and we also had plans on how to have fun.

@sarahbaby has been telling me about a popular gym house in the territory so we decided to approach the gym house with spendhbd proposal.

Onboarding and listing Diplomat Gym house

The gym house is where most young people visit on a daily basis to get a better body and Diplomat Gym house is not exceptional a lot of young people visit there for body workouts.

They have whatever is needed to make up a complete gym house with qualified instructors.

I met with the manager and we had an extensive discussion on how Spendhbd can help attract more customers for them. The gym instructor was also happy when he heard that he could write about his training in the Hive blog.

After we had an agreement, I took pictures and onboarded the business. It was already late, and people who came to exercise had already left, so we fixed next Monday for onboarding the Diplomat Gym house clients, hosting workshops there, which will give everyone in attendance the opportunity to get onboarded if they want to.

First Hive meetup with Iyaneri Lagos Hiveans

After onboarding and listing the Diplomat Gym house, I quickly walked down to the meet up venue where we have the new hivers waiting.

Firstly I commended them all for their activeness, they have been so active that they always appear on @ecency leaderboard on daily basis, that shoes commitment and determination on their part, which I really appreciate because it really saddens me when I onboard people and they become inactive for no reason.

How to use tags and find contests

Appropriate use of tags is one of the things a newbie should know, so I taught them how to use tags appropriately and how they can use tags to locate contests in different communities, this is very important to avoid abuse of tags

How to download Discord and join the Hive community Discord

Only but few use Discord applications so most people don't know about it, I taught them how to download Discord from the Play Store, then join the Discord community, to help them see important announcements in each community Discord

How to swap hive and power up

The significance of power-up was part of our discussion, so I taught them how to swap hbd to Hive in their Hive Keychain app and how to power up, they swapped hbd and did power up.

We discussed on the importance of meeting at least once in a month, the importance of engagement tho they are doing well, I highlighted on meaningful engagements on other people's content.

At this stage, I was totally exhausted, and I had to go back home to get some rest. I left them and travelled back to my base.

Today was fun and hopefully next week will be more fun as we will be welcoming new people from the new gym house.
