7th Hive Birthday, Huxley's Antics, A Creative Slump, and Taking A Bit of Profits

Time Sure Does Pass Quickly ..

It’s been 17 days since my last post… Not that I’m counting. Well, maybe I am. No excuses, really. Just life doing its thing keeping me busy, pulling my attention in different directions, and, if I’m being honest, leaving me a little unmotivated to write, paint, or even take photos.

My Hive Birthday .. 7 Years!!!

Something special did happen while I was away! My Hive Birthday came and went. On March 12th, I officially hit 7 years on Hive! What an accomplishment, if I do say so myself. Through the years, I’ve seen friends come and go, but many remain, and I've made so many new connections that I’ve lost count. It’s been quite the journey, filled with creativity, community, and some unexpected twists along the way.

Huxley Being Huxley ..

Speaking of unexpected twists… Huxley has been both a good boy and a mischievous little rascal these past 17 days. He’s learning, adjusting to his world, and meeting new friends as we continue to socialize him with other dogs. We want him to grow into a polite little fella..

But let’s just say he’s been testing the boundaries. He recently discovered the forbidden joys of cork coasters and tissues .. Two things that have now landed on his personal "must destroy" list. Just look at that shredded pile of tissue! The proud expression on his face says it all. I suppose that’s his own version of art. At least someone in this house is in a creative mood.

I have not added to the stack since prices have risen .. However I have sold a few pieces of jewelry in order to turn a profit and fund a few plans for the up and coming summer season. (Please no harsh judgement) After all what's stacking if you don't enjoy the labors of your efforts from time to time. We are going to enjoy a little bit of those profits.

I do have an Orchid Update coming soon .. Hopefully in the next couple of days, if time allows. Until then, I appreciate your patience and promise to try not to let another 17 days slip by before my next post. LOL.
