RE: Searching for Hive growth

great work as ever steev
i think hive is doing very nicely considering the crypto slump. Community is still active, boreholes are being funded, hivefest is happening, its still making a difference in peoples lives. numbers go down when the hype isnt there but thats ok, hive kicks along at a reasonable enough pace. I think it will remain here to lift people up when they are trying to climb, or to catch us when we're falling. It makes me think of a bar on a space station in between galaxies where people stop off to socialise or gamble a little money, or grab the latest galactic news thread, or join a convention of brilliant minds, or stop to vent and mouth off about the system, get drunk and have a very public, immutable slagging match, build a new space shack on the side of the station and invite people in for a few rounds of low-g mini golf before the roof caves in and the oxygen drains away. I love it. Its always colourful and peculiar and filled with shattered dreams and newly formed horizons and places to get your imagination stuck in to. I dont feel i need anything more from it than this fascinating narrative feast
Cheers for the brain dump ;) Hive is a fun place for me that always has something interesting. I spend more time here than on other social media. Twtr is a bin fire and FB full of ads. I want to see the people I would follow there come over, but it's not generally on their radar. We have the eternal issue of not being big enough to attract content creators, but we need them to bring in more 'consumers'.
In my mind the state of crypto in general is not that relevant as you can earn on Hive regardless. When things pick up you can enjoy the benefits.
Much as I love our little community I want to see others get involved. Hive could be very different if it ever got to millions of active people, but bring it on!
!PIZZA
it would be cool to have an entire hive operating system so that when you log in to your hive phone or hive pc its automatically integrated with the block chain and all of your apps are signed in seamlessly. It might not be what og's would use but the experience needs to feel grossly convenient for most people to want to use it
Keychain has made Hive much easier and more secure. We used to have to enter our keys into each site and people would make mistakes with that.
