Nigeria's ongoing challenges and struggles

Nigeria, well known as the "giant of Africa", is nation with huge potential, enrich with natural resources and filled with diverse range of population. However, the country also faces a wide range of problems that delays it's growth and advancement . This article analysis some of the critical issues that Nigeria battle with, including corruption, Ethnics tension and other challenges.
Corruption
Corruption as the name implies, means the lack of Integrity and honesty especially susceptibility to bribery and use of present status or position of trust for dishonour gain.
- It still remains the fundamental problem in Nigeria . corruption derails economic development , weakens institution and crumble public truth and limited success which sometimes leads to convictions. This persuasive issue makes difficult the investment of foreign goods, constraints development projects and enhances inequality in the country.
Ethnics and Religious tension
Nigeria is a great nation with over 250 groups roughly divided between the Muslims and Christians. However, the onward rooted Ethnics and religious tensions have led continual outbreaks of violence, especially in the Northern and Central regions. This conflicts has also hinders the social progress,underscoring the need for robust dialogue inclusive governance ,and unsuitable news .
Poverty and income inequality
Despite the natural riches of the country, Poverty remains a persuasive problem in Nigeria today. A very large percent of people lives below the poverty line lacking access to basics amenities such as, education and healthcare and many more. Income inequality also inflame issues thereby creating a division between the elite and the masses .
Security challenges
The country is now a fearful place to dwell due to the high rate of killings. It is multiply daily ranging from Boko haram insurgency in the life of the Northeast farmers, and Arm robbery in various regions of the country.
- This security challenge don't only endanger the lives of people and economic development but it also deter foreign exchange of goods and hinders other infrastructural development in Nigeria.
Conclusion
There's a saying that "Two wise heads are better than one", and seeing all the difficulties that the country is facing today, is not a good one.
Together we can meet our country a better one by abolishing the act of bribery and corruption in the country and also living a honest, prayerful and God fearing life. And am sure with God's intervention, this country will be a very good and convenience one.
