My very real but fictional journeys - Living on the edge - The world of genuine feelings.

Today I want to present to you my next drawing which I finished a couple of weeks ago.

In this picture you can see a mushroom picker literally crawling through the forest on his stomach picking up the mushrooms that surround him.

I wanted to see in the face of this mushroom picker genuine feelings surprise and delight from the find that appeared before his eyes.

I think you have noticed that people often artificially smile artificially shake hands with you when they meet ask how you are doing, but they are not at all interested much more honest just walk past and not notice the interlocutor.

The forest is one of those places where our feelings are genuine where delight comes from the depths of the soul there you can find many reasons for surprise and although the forest does not know how to speak and wish us all the best it willingly shares its riches with us wishing that our mood was wonderful.

Once when I was picking Xerócomus mushrooms in Moldavian codri I literally had to crawl under a low forest to see the mushrooms hidden there, which were very numerous.

I decided to put such memories on a sheet of paper using pencils with graphite rods.

I draw something like this for the first time and I had to lie on the floor in front of a large mirror in order to understand how a person would look in such a position.

I do not exclude the option that he was walking through the forest, stumbled, fell, and when he looked up he saw a huge number of mushrooms around.

With the help of colored pencils drawing mushrooms and the texture of various objects is a little easier here everything had to be done in shades of gray applying layer after layer achieving shapes and volumes.

It's funny but to me, this mushroom picker turned out to be a bit like Glum from the Lord of the Rings, who holds a ring of power in his hands and says: "My charm!"

Absolutely pure and genuine feelings, lol.
