Monochrome photo for every day my personal photo challenge - 12/19/2023 - Issue - No.99 + a modest competition for everyone who wants to share a monochrome photograph.
For me this is a challenge, but for you, it can be a simple and easy read, or it can become a competition which you can read about below.
Delight is a strange feeling that can arise out of nowhere originating somewhere in the spinal cord and it sends goosebumps down your fingertips lol.
In theory there should be good reasons for delight to appear for example you were given a million dollars or a villa in the Maldives, but sometimes delight appears without obvious reasons, or rather it is difficult to explain these reasons.
Once I was walking through a park where there were many beautiful trees but they were similar to each other and did not stand out as anything special from the general mass of trees.
Walking deeper into the park, I found myself near a small hill on the top of which grew cypress trees slender trees that looked like Christmas candles on a cake.
But they weren't the ones that caught my attention.
A little closer to me grew a tree which in comparison with the well-groomed trees planted artificially looked wild and untidy, but its branches spread in different directions created an incredible arched atmosphere that perfectly complemented the landscape with cypress trees.
I remember that the delight was strong because it was the cherry on the cake that I was looking for in the park and I photographed it.
This tree has some incredible inexplicable charm and it’s worth admiring.

This should be any monochrome photographic work; it does not necessarily have to be black and white, sepia and other variations are welcome, and it can also be monochrome photo collages.
