Molecular photo-kitchen by @barski - Salvation of an ordinary damaged photograph.

Yes I had the thought of saving Private Ryan when I came up with the title of this post because just as the life of each person is priceless so the time we spent on each photograph cannot be valued in monetary terms.

We have wasted our precious time, but this time was not always well spent and then it turns out that the photograph was spoiled by excessive light as in this case.

But in my molecular kitchen I decided to work on rescuing this ordinary photo and the solution was simple fill in the red spots and excess light with the same clover flower which will block the sky and become a kind of background image for the modest clover flower which I was going to save.

This is where this idea led me and I will say that I was counting on a more modest result especially since I did not try to reinvent the wheel but used the simplest thing that I could use the same photograph but on a larger scale overlaying two additional layers of different intensity and transparency.

This is what a wounded private looked like... a photograph that I decided to save.
