Asphalted thoughts.

Our thoughts are in many ways similar to roads that, in their essence, should lead us somewhere, to the final goal.

This applies to both something significant and to something that can be called a momentary whim, for example, I wanted to eat something tasty and I go to the kitchen and open the refrigerator.

It looks like a strict, time-tested route lol, like an asphalt highway of international significance when the limit of the gas pedal is not visible.

But, any asphalt has its own strength limits and over time, holes and potholes appear on it, where you can drop your car and then have the pleasure of talking to a mechanic.

And those thoughts, which seemed to be of great importance, suddenly lose their relevance.

Some people constantly look back in their thoughts, regretting something they didn’t do earlier, while others always look forward without remorse in their thoughts. Unlike on motorways, I prefer the second option.

I remember the path that led me between the reeds to the beach of the seaside resort.

Walking along this path ankle-deep in hot sand that tickled your heels and toes was not easy and you won't get going here, but it's so nice to remember it, although then I was thinking about the solid surface under my feet lol.
