Sail at sunset - watercolor

Hello to all!

Some days ago I have tried watercolor.
I made a colorful sunset background, from blue to dark violet, adding some orange, red and blue clouds.
After that, with a black pencil, I drew some main ships masts, with inclined ropes, usually used to sustain the sails, but not when boats are in the harbour.

I was inspired by a similar view in Chiavari (Liguria, Italy) harbour, where a 'wood' of ships masts stood against the bright and shining color of winter and autumnal sunsets.

I’d also like to try a water color someday but I’m not very good at it

I find this work very interesting. The lines of those masts on those colours... it's perfect for me.
