Şile; It is truly a district with its own unique texture. The history of settlement dates back to ancient times. Because this region; Istanbul is a district with a very large surface area, overlooking the Black Sea coast of the Anatolian side and having the coasts of the entire Anatolian side connected to the Black Sea. Black Sea coasts; It has been of great importance to the communities living in these regions throughout history. Because, the Black Sea coasts were as important as the Mediterranean and Aegean coasts in the Turkish peninsula. The Black Sea has always been a district that has always maintained its importance, as the neighboring countries that have coasts on the Black Sea have had an important value in the historical process, and their policy of landing in the warm seas has continued for a long time. @favian

Efforts to dominate the Black Sea have been one of the biggest policies of both Russians and Turks throughout history. As of today, while every country follows a calm and peaceful policy in its coastal areas, the war in Ukraine in recent years has caused tension to rise in this sea again. There is no need to talk about the war as it is forbidden to go into details or talk politics per @Ecency policy.

Şile district, located at the point where the Black Sea connects to the Bosphorus, has always maintained its importance throughout history because it is located exactly on the corner shore and has a long coastline. While wandering around the streets of Şile, you may come across very old buildings. Of course, since I haven't been able to travel all around Şile, I haven't been able to find out yet which is the oldest building or whether there are any very old buildings still standing. However; You can often see two-story classical Anatolian houses. However, these houses or historical buildings are located in more remote areas. We mostly walked around the center of Şile. @three-six-nine

We went there for a nice swim in the pool connected to the site where our summer house is located, and because we wanted to spend a quiet weekend in a quiet town. After a nice afternoon; We set out to take a long walk, eat in the town center and maybe do some shopping. We walked approximately 8 kilometers in total with my uncle. The distance from the part where the sites are located to the town center can take more than 2.5 kilometers. We already went to different points along the main street in the district center. It was a nice walk. Because when we go on vacation, we generally eat a lot and also have snacks until late at night. When we swim in the pool for an hour a day, we feel like we have spent energy. However, the calories we consume may be 5 times more than the calories we spend. Therefore, even if we force ourselves, long walks that may last several hours are very useful in burning calories. @oneplanet

As I mentioned, Şile district is one of the most beautiful, calm and touristic districts of Turkey. If you have the opportunity, I would definitely like you to come to these parts. It has a very beautiful nature, and if you wish, you can enjoy the sea on its wide and long beaches or visit the places with very nice and decent places in the town center. You can also have a delicious meal with the delicious flavors of the Anatolian table.

While we were visiting Şile, we came across a prepared concert area in the city square. The concert area was being prepared in the direction of our journey. On our return journey, the concert was about to start. It was a concert by one of the young female artists who are just starting to become known in Turkey. Since the concert was free, there was intense public interest. The concert was already held in the city square. After listening to a few beautiful songs, we went back to the last part of our walk, returning home, and after another long walk, we arrived at the summer house.
